It is true that it is convenient for people to go out by shared bike. As shared bikes become more popular, problems showed up.
According to news reports, users treated shared bikes badly. After people used the bikes, some of them just threw them onto streets and even into the ditches (水沟). Some people stole the bikes or locked them up in chains (链条). A month ago, the police fined(罚)a man in Shanghai 1,000 yuan, because he stole a shared bike.
Besides, the damage to the QR codes (二维码) on the bikes has brought huge losses to bike-sharing companies, like Mobike (摩拜单车). If the QR code is bad, people cannot use the bike anymore. It can take several hundred yuan for the company workers to find a lost bike and repair it. Mobike has 30 credit scores for each user. Once the score drops to below 3, bike rental (租金) will go up five yuan per 30 minutes.
However, punishment may not be the best way to stop shared bikes from being stolen or damaged. Bike-sharing services will work better only if people follow the rules and show respect for the bikes.

19、Recently, a report found that kids 30 years ago could run faster and longer than kids today. The report found that today’s kids are 5% less healthy than kids from 30 years ago. What does that mean? If you’re a2-year-old girl. You’re not a sports star, but you’ re quite healthy. Your mom was the same kind of kid when she was your age. Now imagine we could have a 500-meter race between you and your mom from 30 years ago. Was it cool? The study shows your mom would run faster than you in the race by 90 seconds. That’s a lot. It was the same for boys. An average (普通的) boy from 30 years ago would beat an average boy today.
The scientists think there are some reasons for the big fall in health. First, nowadays too many kids are overweight (超重). That makes it harder for them to run fast. Second, kids today don’t get enough exercise. Doctors say kids should get at least 60 minutes of exercise a day. That’s why it is important for schools to have P. E. classes.
So what should kids do? If you don’t want your mom and dad to think they are faster than you, don’t spend a l ot of time playing games, watching TV or movies online. Instead, try to do some things and it will help to get you up and to move.

六、阅读表达(10分)
22、根据短文内容,完成下列任务。

The arrival of ChatGPT will push educators to think more about teaching subjects that technology is not good at. The future is not about technology fighting against humans, it is about humans living together with technology. ChatGPT pushes us to think harder of what makes us human.
What is very clear is that the kinds of things that are easy to teach and test have also become easy for ChatGPT. The world no longer accepts you just for what you know. The world accepts you for what you can do with what you know, and ChatGPT pushes us to work harder on this. If students are only as smart as a smartphone, it means educators are not doing enough. People should develop human skills, such as imagination and creativity, that means we should imagine and create things.
The arrival of AI really pushes people to think hard about what education is and for what it serves. While Google or Baidu simply provides knowledge, ChatGPT goes a step further and analyzes (分析) a search before providing only an answer.
There’s a great risk if we just follow the answers from ChatGPT instead of questioning it and creating new knowledge (知识). ChatGPT is going to make learning much more interesting and powerful, but humans need to work very hard to win that race with technology.
1. What kind of subjects should we teach after the arrival of ChatGPT?
________________________________________________________
2. If students want to be smarter than a smartphone, what should they do?
________________________________________________________
3. What is the difference between ChatGPT and Google or Baidu?

5. Do you like ChatGPT? Why or why not?

What’s more, when you are in trouble, you can ask your teachers for help. When you ask for help, you should be polite and avoid being too direct.
