User Guide
Overview
KEKS Pay mobile payment app has a community of 130,000 members using this fast and simple mobile payment and money transfer solution regularly. Perpetuum created the extension for integrating this successful Erste&Steiermärkische Bank product with the Magento 2 platform, giving webshop owners an opportunity to seize all the
benefits of this top-notch FinTech payment solution.
The application has high security standards, keeping all data
encrypted and saved on secure servers. Customers also have to set up a secure verification system (PIN or biometrics) to enter their application.
Cash handling remains an inconvenient option that lacks safety and is becoming old-fashioned while using cards to pay for products online could be time-consuming when customers reach a new web shop. For example, in Croatia 56% of online shoppers don’t pay with the credit card because they are afraid of data theft, while as much as 21%
simply do not feel like looking for their credit card and typing in
the data.
There are two sides to how the extension works:
•Desktop version in which a QR code is generated – the customer can scan the QR code with their Settle application
•Mobile version which automatically redirects the customer to their KEKS Pay application
Both versions, from the user perspective, will be presented in this document.
Desktop version
1.The customer chooses a product or multiple products that he/she
wishes to purchase. In the Shopping cart the customer clicks on “Proceed to Checkout”.

2.In the shopping cart, the customer checks the data and clicks on
“Next” to proceed to the Review & Payments step.

3.In the Review and Payments step the customer chooses “KEKS Pay“ as
the payment option.

4.The customer checks the payment data once again, and proceeds with
the payment by clicking on the ”Plati KEKS Payom“ (eng. Pay with KEKS Pay) button. The translation of the button can be modified.

5.The extension generates a QR code and the customer opens his/her
KEKS Pay application on the phone and scans the QR code.

6.When the transaction is finished, Magento displays the success
notification and the customer can continue shopping on the web shop.

Mobile version
1.The customer chooses a product or multiple products that he/she
wishes to purchase. In the Shopping cart the customer clicks on “Proceed to Checkout“.

2.In the Shopping cart, the customer checks the data and clicks on
“Next” to proceed to the Review & Payments step.

3.The customer checks the payment data once again, and proceeds with
the payment by clicking on the “Plati KEKS Payom” (eng. Pay with KEKS Pay) button. The translation of the button can be modified.

4.The pop-up is then opened and the customer clicks on the option
“Otvori KEKS Pay” (eng. “Open KEKS Pay”), which redirects him/her to the KEKS Pay application.

5.The customer is redirected into his/her KEKS Pay application on the
phone and the payment data are shown within the application. To pay, the customer follows the required steps within the
application.
6.When the transaction is finished, the customer manually goes back
to the browser and Magento displays the success notification.
