Step 1:(Observe the cover)
1.呈现故事封面,给出2个问题:Q1:What can you see?
(The tan man)
Page 4:
T: Look at Nan, is she happy?
(No, she is surprised/ scared.)
T: Where is Dan? What is he doing? Please read the page and find out the answers.
Page 5:
Q1:Dan is missing. So how does Nan feel? Happy? What does she do?
(She puts up an ad.)
Q2: Who sees the ad?
Pair work:Read page 5 with partners.
Page 6:
T: Can he see Dan the tan man? Let’s go on.
Q1:Can the man get Dan?
(No, he cannot.)
Q2: Why?
(Because Dan the tan man runs from the man.) Group work: Read Page 6 in groups of 4. 与同桌一起朗读第页

T: Dan runs and runs. He is very tired and hot. Dan is
under the tree.
Q1: Look! Who can see Dan? Who else?
( the fox, Nan.)
Free talk : Can the fox get Dan?
What will the fox do?

Q1: Can the fox get Dan? Why?
Free talk: Why Dan is happy at the end of the story?
情感教育:When Dan is in danger, his master, Nan come
out and help him. Nan gives Dan so much love, just like
Dan’s mother. Now Nan is hugging Dan tightly. Dan feels
the love. So Dan is very happy and thankful.
