However, I learned the importance of having backups and copies of important documents. I had a photocopy of my ID and a backup credit card in my luggage, so I was able to get by until I could get a replacement wallet.
In both situations, I learned that losing something can be a valuable lesson in preparedness and resilience. It's important to have backups and stay calm in the face of adversity. Losing something can also teach us to appreciate what we have and not take things for granted.
