/zhaoshengxinxi/CIzhaosheng.htm招生简章2014年2月17日至2013年3月27日其实4月22号就接到了上外高翻院的电话通知说我被录取了，到现在10天过去了，总算是清醒下来了。
忽然间发现自己不知不觉在bbw转悠了1年多，从大家的诸多贡献中也学到了不少，所以想借此机会谈一谈今年的考试情况，也算是尽自己的绵薄之力对各位的回报。
我想从3个方面谈谈今年的入学考试，即报考、笔试、面试。
1. 报考今年报考上外高翻会口专业的人数将近300。
从地域上看，真是五湖四海的都有，虽说大陆考生占了绝大多数，但一些港胞台胞还有国际友人也把目光投向了这个专业。
从报考人员的背景来看，也称得上是“丰富多彩”，有学生（本科生和研究生都有）、老师、记者、专职翻译等等。
并且据官方消息称不少人都纷纷放弃了优厚的工作待遇来报考，这份坚定实在是值得钦佩。
另外，有一点需要澄清，社会上传闻报考上外高翻会口专业需要专业八级或上海高口证，这纯属空XXXXX来风。
确切的报考条件是，只需要有学士学位就能报考。
那些正在读本科最后一年的同学也可以报考。
2. 笔试今年的笔试安排在3月27号，笔试分为3部分：综合能力、视译、笔译。
综合能力8：30-11：00，视译12：00-13：30，笔译14：00-16：30。
大家可以看到，笔试要考一天，对体力也是个挑战。
下面说说每个部分的具体内容。
综合能力第一部分考查外语写作（中国考生写英文，外国考生写中文），2个题目选1个，一个是谈是否应该禁止大规模杀伤性武器，另一个是谈 empowerment of women。
字数不少于850词。
第二部分考查名词解释，这些大多都是名人、缩略语、国家首都。

/zhaoshengxinxi/CIzhaosheng.htm招生简章2014年2月17日至2013年3月27日其实4月22号就接到了上外高翻院的电话通知说我被录取了，到现在10天过去了，总算是清醒下来了。
忽然间发现自己不知不觉在bbw转悠了1年多，从大家的诸多贡献中也学到了不少，所以想借此机会谈一谈今年的考试情况，也算是尽自己的绵薄之力对各位的回报。
我想从3个方面谈谈今年的入学考试，即报考、笔试、面试。
1. 报考今年报考上外高翻会口专业的人数将近300。
从地域上看，真是五湖四海的都有，虽说大陆考生占了绝大多数，但一些港胞台胞还有国际友人也把目光投向了这个专业。
从报考人员的背景来看，也称得上是“丰富多彩”，有学生（本科生和研究生都有）、老师、记者、专职翻译等等。
并且据官方消息称不少人都纷纷放弃了优厚的工作待遇来报考，这份坚定实在是值得钦佩。
另外，有一点需要澄清，社会上传闻报考上外高翻会口专业需要专业八级或上海高口证，这纯属空XXXXX来风。
确切的报考条件是，只需要有学士学位就能报考。
那些正在读本科最后一年的同学也可以报考。
2. 笔试今年的笔试安排在3月27号，笔试分为3部分：综合能力、视译、笔译。
综合能力8：30-11：00，视译12：00-13：30，笔译14：00-16：30。
大家可以看到，笔试要考一天，对体力也是个挑战。
下面说说每个部分的具体内容。
综合能力第一部分考查外语写作（中国考生写英文，外国考生写中文），2个题目选1个，一个是谈是否应该禁止大规模杀伤性武器，另一个是谈 empowerment of women。
字数不少于850词。
第二部分考查名词解释，这些大多都是名人、缩略语、国家首都。
我记得的有IPR、PLO、MDGs、IAEA、 IATA、capital of Kenya、capital of Iran、capital of Australia、Hugo Chavez、Tsang Yam Kuen。
这部分大约有40条需要解释的名词。
最后一部分是完形填空，这不是大家通常所做的选择题，而是自己根据上下文填，每个空所填的词数不限制。
这次考的是一篇科菲安南关于打击恐怖主义的讲话，英文的。
视译看起来持续1个半小时，但实际上是分批次进行测试的。
每批学生进入语音室后会被发给一盘磁带，待试音结束后，考生会被发给一篇文章（中文的），考生会有5分钟来通读文章，文章不算太长，大概300字。
然后就开始正式录音，大家要把文章用英文口头翻译出来，并且有时间限制。
这次的文章是关于对经济学家的炒作现象，里面基本没什么专业术语，还是挺照顾考生的。
但是时间给得太短，后来才知道只给了3分钟多一点。
好多考生都反映没有译完，有的甚至还差3、4 句。
可是从最后的结果来看，主要还是强调语音、语调、准确性和流畅性。
下午就是考笔译了，2个半小时其实还挺紧张，确实有人没有做完的。
这次的笔译部分一共2篇文章，一篇英文译成汉语，一篇汉语译成英文。
每篇的长度是A4的纸一面再多几行，小四号字。
英文那篇主题是Democracy stirs in the Middle East，是国外杂志Economist3月份的一篇。
怎么说呢，这篇文章的句子理解也不算太难，就是生词有一些，并且还都是关键词。
但是我个人感觉先读一遍了解个大意会缓解一下心理压力，并且有助于把握基调。
汉语那篇是温XXXXX出席东盟地震和海啸灾后问题领导人特别会议的讲话，其实在考试之前bbw 论坛就已经提供了中英双语的版本，请看/bbs/index.php?showtopic=1668所以我要感谢本论坛。
这篇讲话整体都不算很难，就是翻的时候要注意一些表达的准确性，如救灾、减免债务。
需要提醒大家的是，时间分配一定要合理，争取在有限时间内做完。
3. 面试大约在笔试结束2、3天过后就接到了高翻电话，确定了面试时间，所有27名入围面试的考生分别被安排在4月15、16两天（有人会问那不是会先考的会透露试题吗，其实大家考的内容都不一样，但难度和形式是一样的，所以很公平）。
如果没有接到电话通知，那就说明不幸落榜了，就要等书面的成绩单，看看问题处在哪里，好对下一年针对改进。
面试是考生一个一个的进到一间小会议室和考官面对面，今年的考官与去年稍稍不同，一共5个：欧盟翻译司老大爷（我估计刚入花甲之年），戴教授，杜教授，上海外办翻译jj，高翻的柴明院长。
换句话说，就是5个考官每次考1个学生。
面试的形式是做复述、问答和即兴演讲，大体分为4个部分：英文讲话用中文复述，中文讲话用英文复述，英文讲话用英文复述，英文即兴演讲。
复述的那3个部分都是考官现场给你讲述一篇文章，然后你再做复述，文章的长度基本上在3到5分钟，考生在听的时候不能做任何笔记只能用大脑记，所以一定要专注。
做复述的时候要镇定，语速要均匀，声音不能弱。
每篇复述完毕后，考官都会问你问题，都是关于文章内容的。
这些文章都有一个特点，就是层次清楚，逻辑清晰。
做复述的时候要把大意、结构、逻辑放在第一位。
现在我都有了个后遗症，一听到层次清楚的文章就有做复述的冲动。
3个部分的复述完毕后，其中1个考官会拿3个题目，考生随便选一个准备1分钟就开始讲。
总的说来，这次面试复述的文章和即兴演讲题目都是大家了解的话题。
面试过后一个星期接到了高翻的电话录取通知，没有接到通知的考生会在迟些时候接到考官的电话给分析面试失利的原因。
我认为上外高翻会口的工作真的做的十分周到和人性化。
以上就是这次考试的一些情况，就我自己的准备过程来说，我在准备面试方面也是借鉴了去年考入的lwcy姐姐的经验，训练了一些discovery的碟子，还有就是网上一些关于讲话的听力材料也还挺好。
对于笔试，我还有时看看Economist、Latimes这样的权威网站，熟悉一下发生的一些大事和英文表达。
我个人觉得新浪的国际专题也值得一看，虽然是中文，但很全面，看的效率也挺高。
自己平时也试着翻译一些文章，有条件还可以和权威的译文参照一下，以提高笔译能力。
准备那些名词解释的时候我看了看缩略语归纳。
写作平时也练练笔，基本上都写议论文，写的时候要注意文章的主题鲜明、结构清楚、逻辑清晰。
对于视译，找些中文段子练，训练自己的反应能力和表达的流畅性。
对于即兴演讲，我也是多练，但也一定要注意主题、结构、逻辑，以及说话的语速均匀、吐字清晰。
这些就是这次考试以及我的准备的概况，回顾这1年来，自己真是经历了从去年的面试淘汰之悲，到今年面试过后之忧，再到接到电话通知之喜。
虽然自己被录取，但这还只是第一步，1年后有中期考核，通过不了还要淘汰，通过了还有2年毕业考核，过不了还是要被淘汰，所以自己进去了还要更加努力。

但通过亲身接触，我发现自己越来越迷恋口译，尤其是自从大三时学校开设了口译课，我更确定了自己对口译的爱：每周五的口译课都是我在期盼中迎接，在不舍中离开；我喜欢那种在高压下紧张心跳的感觉，它让我感到一种生命的活力；我喜欢让更多的人听到自己的声音；而且口译让我对国际国内时政感兴趣，通过对外刊外报的阅读和翻译世界领导人的讲话培养了深深的民族使命感和国际认知。
如果说以前我学英语是出于单纯的热爱，那么现在则有了更深一层意义，那就是用自己所学为中国同世界的交流做出贡献。
尤其是当我看到西方媒体对我国西藏事件偏颇的报道，对我国民主和人权诋毁时，当我听到达赖喇嘛的声音在多个国家大受追捧以至于湮没中国领导人的声音时，当我满怀希望期待哥本哈根会议取得成效却等来一纸空文时，我深切意识到这个世界多么得缺乏沟通！渐渐地，我在心中确立了自己一生奋斗的理想：为人与人的沟通，为中国与世界的沟通，为世界各国的沟通做出贡献。
我深知目前自己的知识无论深度还是广度都还远远不够，因此我渴望进入更高一级的学府深造，渴望在更高的舞台锻炼自己。
毫无疑问，高翻学院可以为我提供更高的平台，甚至是世界的大舞台，可以提升我的专业实力和综合素质，为实现这些美好的理想打下坚实的基础。
因此我郑重地报名参加高翻学院会议口译专业的选拔考试，期待踏上人生新的征程！也许这条路上充满了艰难险阻，也许要付出常人难以想象的代价，但我无怨无悔，不仅因为我热爱语言，热爱口译，热爱交流，更因为我有使命在身。
