1.hometown

A.Liyang in Jiangsu 'province

B.It is a relatively small town compared with Hefei. But I think the population is quite big, it is about 800,000.

C.It is a town with a picturesque view in the south of jiangsu. Tourist attractions in our town such as Tianmu Lake and Nanshan Bamboo Sea attract millions of visitors to my hometown every year. It seems that my home town especially appeals to people from metropolitans like Shanghai. A variety of granges have also been developed in Liyang. Visitors can go fishing, boating, picking fruit from the trees there, which offers them an opportunity to get away from city life and get closer to the nature.

D. I do think that my hometown has changed significantly since last few years. Along with urbanization and modernization, more commercial elements have been brought to it. For example, more office building have been built and relatively high-end department stores like Golden Eagle have been attempting to explore the markets in my hometown. The first Starbucks was opened two years ago and more people choose to go to the cinema as a recreation on the holidays.

E.Well, to be honest, I hate the cement plants and paper plants that run in some particular areas of the town. Despite the spectacular landscape in Liyang, these plants are detrimental to our local environment and our health as they can lead to serious air pollution. In those areas, every road is covered with dust, and a blue sky is only a fairy tale.

G. My favorite food is absolutely fish head of Tianmu lake. It is one of the most well-known cuisines in my hometown. The fish cooked are all from Tianmu Lake, where a limited amount of fish are allowed to catch, in order to maintain the sustainability of the Eco-system. As a result,

these wild fish taste fabulous. The fish heads are stewed gently for hours, so the taste of the flesh and that of the condiments in the soup mix into each other perfectly. I hope one day you can visit my hometown and I can show you around and have a taste of the most authentic fish head.

D.My favorite subject is chemistry. My first chemistry is very humorous. His hilarious teaching method helped me arouse interests in the magical world of Chemistry. My favorite part is the awesome experiments that never fail to draw all my attention to.

It is amazing that orange liquid can turn into green ashes after it is heated and that a test tube can be decorated with silver all of a sudden. My interests in chemistry encourage me to work hard and explore more about it. Last year, I won the first price in a chemistry competition, and I was the only girl in my grade to have won it.

E. My least favorite subject is a very typical one in China, politics. Luckily, I have already finished the compulsory course. Ironically, in politics classes, we seldom discuss anything related to current affairs. Instead, we need to memorize heaps of economic, political and philosophical terms. Actually, we do not know what they mean exactly. It is a mission impossible for teachers to explain them thoroughly as well. The politics lessons are so boring that half of my class fall asleep in them.

F. Of course I will keep in touch with my old classmates in the future. After we graduate, we will have to go to different places for further study. However, I don't our friendship will easily fade away. If we keep in touch with old classmates, we can discuss our new problems and find solutions together. Also, we can broaden our horizon and learn more about different areas from our friends. In addition, many of my classmates are planning to go abroad for further education. Some of them are going to Japan, Germany, France and America. I think we can be tour guides for each other.

G. I personally prefer to study in the afternoon. To be honest, I am kind of a night owl. Every night, I stay up at least to 12o'clock. Consequently, I have never felt that I have got enough sleep in the morning. I am always so sleepy and fatigued that it is hard for me to
