第七课属于第三单元,第三单元以“festival”为话题,主要谈论Halloween,Thanksgiving Day, Christmas.现在我来谈谈我这一节课的设计思路:本节课是新路径英语第11册Lesson 7 Halloween的第一课时.万圣节对于孩子们来说是一个陌生的节日,他们对万圣节充满好奇。
Lesson7教学内容的编排不能满足孩子们对万圣节的求知欲望。
因此,我把该教材作了整理,让孩子们全面了解和理解万圣节的文化。
我把课文作了改编,添加了更多关于万圣节的元素。
第一课时主要学习与万圣节有关的单词和感受万圣节,以及体验万圣节所带来的快乐。
本节课的重点放在新单词的学习和体验Halloween。
希望通过本节课让学生记住万圣节这个西方人的节日,了解万圣节的来历,并亲身体验万圣节带给他们的快乐。
第一个环节:问候和引入,从日常会话过渡到节日,引出Halloween.通过观看视频,初步感受万圣节,通关于万圣节的图片,体验scary,引出scary thing。
第二个环节:1.通过听录音,回答第一和第二个问题。
在这个过程中,教授新单词,并理解万圣节的来历和感悟很久以前人们是怎样过万圣节的。
第三个环节:通过听录音并跟读,回答第三个和第四个问题,带领学生理解当今西方国家怎样万圣节。
第四个环节:学生跟读文章第二段,回答第五和第六个问题,让学生充分体验万圣节带来的“fun”。
第五个环节:根据板书,带领学生回忆并总结今天所学知识。
板书分为scary things 和fun两部分。
Scary things 包括black cats, bats, ghosts ,witches and devils.Fun 包括 have parties, play tricks on people, dress up as, play the game“Trick or Treat”and get candies.第六个环节:学生根据图片复述短文和分小组复述短文。

3 教师出示单词卡片,学生认读数字单词。
(3)教师播放Let’s learn部分的课件,学生跟读学习。
(4)教师用手指做示范: Show me 1 and 2. 让学生跟着做。
(5)让学生听录音,跟读Let’s learn 的词汇,要求学生用手指指出相应的内容。
3 趣味操练 (Practice)(1)游戏:What’s missing?将写有1—10 数字的扑克牌放在一个纸袋中,让学生闭眼的时候教师快速藏起其中的一个,让学生猜What’s missing?猜对的学生抽取下一次的扑克牌。
(2)小组比赛:教师不出声音说单词,让学生根据教师的口型举牌。
各组有几个人猜对加几分。
(3)游戏: Follow me让一个学生任意说一个数字如:4,并做一个动作如:跺脚,其他同学就要做跺脚的动作4次。
