二、说教学目标:根据《英语课程标准》的教学理念，教材特点以及八年级学生的实际情况，本课的教学目标确立为：1、本课要求学生记住并灵活运用以下新词汇及短语might , grow, scientist, engineer scary, so is…It’s + adj. +(not) to do sth in the future “在将来”。
2、能用英语叙述the life in the future的方法。

本课的教学过程设计为以下六大环节：1、课前准备我先行！根据中学生的认知规律，也为新课做好铺垫，在上节课中布置预习任务，预习的具体要求为：预习本课的生词，泛读课文，了解课文大意并找出重点短语和句子。
2、单词闯关我厉害！在这个过程中，我点击课件，就会出现重点单词的汉语意思，组内抢答并计分，在此环节，我采用了分层计分法，即把学生分层，C类学生答对分数最高，达到了兵教兵的热潮，也就是说要想组内得高分，必须教会C类同学，让他们去回答。
