课前预习:
1.预习听读教材P 8 Let's learn。
2.预习已学有关活动的词组,如:play sports, play basketball, play ping-pong, sing English song等。
教学内容:
Unit 1 My day B Let's learn & Do a survey
教学目标:
1. 能够能听、说、读、写四个有关日常活动的词组:clean my room, go for a walk, go shopping, take a dancing class。
2. 能够在语境中正确运用以上四个词组描述日常活动。
3. 能够完成调查及填表活动并根据结果展开问答。
教学重点:
掌握并运用Let’s learn部分四会短语,并运用What do you do on the weekend?句型进行问答。
教学难点:
掌握always, often, sometimes, usually频率副词的用法。
教学用具:1.多媒体课件 2. 板书贴条
教学过程:
一、Warming up
1. Sing a song:My weekend
2. Let’s say:根据歌曲视频,引出Mike’s weekend和Pedro’s weekend,让学生看图片谈一谈。
T: In the video, we sang about Pedro and Mike’s weekend. Look at this picture. If you are Mike, can you talk about his weekend?
S: I often clean my room on the weekend. (板书often)
S: I sometimes go shopping on the weekend. (板书sometimes)
T: What about Pedro’s weekend?(指着Pedro的图片提问)
S: I usually play football and play basketball on the weekend.(板书usually)
T: Right. We can also say Pedro usually plays sports on the weekend.
设计意图:歌曲活跃课堂气氛,营造轻松学习氛围,吸引学生的注意力,为学生学习课文词组和语言表达做铺垫;以歌曲中人物活动作为引子,帮助学生回顾所唱的内容,为后面学习相关周末活动做铺垫;其次,运用图片中的星级标注引出3个频率副词,将抽象内容具体化,有助于学生对虚词的理解。
二、Presentation
1. 探究一:展示Sarah周末活动的2幅图片,引导学生讨论。
T: Sarah likes sports, too. She has a busy weekend. What does she do on the weekend? If you’re Sarah, how to say?
S: I often play _____. I sometimes_____.
设计意图:由Pedro的周末活动自然过渡到课文中Sarah周末活动,看图谈谈Sarah周末生活,为后面成呈现周末活动新词汇做铺垫。
2. 探究二:听Sarah周末其他活动的录音,说说Sarah的周末活动内容,呈现Let’s learn部分词汇和频率副词sometimes, often, usually和always。
(根据学生情况看需要播放几遍录音)
(1)教师播放第一遍录音,并提问:What does Sarah do on the weekend? Let's listen.播放课文录音。
学生听录音,回答问题。
T: Wow, Sarah likes sports very much. And she has many other things to do too. What other interesting things? Let’s listen.
(2)教师播放第二遍录音,并提问:What does Sarah do on the weekend? 学生仔细听录音,找出相应的活动内容,教师呈现相应活动词组。
(3)强调副词often的用法,教授词组clean my room。
T: Sarah has a busy weekend. What does she often do? (强调副词often,并在日历中体现频率)
S: watch TV, play ping-pong and clean her room.
(2)强调副词sometimes的用法,教授词组go shopping。
T: What does she sometimes do? (强调副词sometimes,并在日历中体现频率)S: go shopping.(呈现词组go shopping,学生模仿跟读)
(3)强调副词usually的用法,教授词组go for a walk.
T: What does Sarah usually do? (强调副词usually,并在日历中体现频率)
S:go for a walk. (呈现词组,学生跟读模仿)
T: Do you often_________ on the weekend?
S: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
(4)强调副词always的用法,教授词组take a dancing class。
T: What does Sarah always do? (强调副词always, 并在日历中体现频率)
S: take a dancing class. (呈现词组,学生跟读模仿)
T: Sarah takes a dancing class, what class do you take on the weekend?
S: I take a____ class. (拓展take a ____ class)
设计意图:由一个词组,拓展延伸到同类的其他词组表达,复习已学知识,滚动语言积累。
3. 探究三:根据图片提示,完整描述Sarah’s weekend.
(1)课件出示Sarah周末活动图片,请学生先自主描述。
(2)校对答案。
设计意图:新授词组整体呈现和教学后,学生根据图片,进行完整描述,有助于帮助学生复习巩固新授词汇,为后面拓展活动中说说自己的周末活动做语言铺垫。
三、Consolidation
1. 练习一:跟读书本Let’s learn部分。
设计意图:磨音与纠音,形成正确的语音语调。
2. 练习二:书本Do a survey and report。
调查询问前后左右四位同学的信息What do you do on the weekend? 完成书本上的表格。
根据调查表格汇报:前后四人相互汇报:I often/always/sometimes…
设计意图:以身边同学为例,四人小组,在实际情境中运用周末活动词汇说一说自己真实的事情,达到对四会词汇的灵活运用。
3.练习三:完成课本P10Let’s check第1大题,写写自己的周末活动,并说一说。
设计意图:结合自身活动,完成词汇书写练习,争取在课内巩固词组“写”的要求。

设计意图:引导学生一起小结本课重点语言。
