【语法】：
1. 本单元学习句型结构：want to do sth. 想做某事
want后面如果跟动词，一定要在动词前加to，构成want to + 动词原形。

如：
I want to buy a dress. 我想买条裙子。

2. want和would like的区别
would like to do sth是愿意作某事表示愿意、乐意，而want to do sth 表示想要做某事，表达一种想法。

比前者程度更深
1. How are you getting on? 近来怎么样？
这句话在不同的场合意义有所不同，通常后面再跟介词with，使意思更加明确。

如：
How are you getting on with your study? 你学习怎么样？
本单元中这句话的意思应该是问“你们学习怎么样？”
2. Miss Li is asking the students about their dreams. 李老师在问学生们他们的梦想。

ask sb about sth 意为：问某人有关……，如：
My mother asked me about my lessons. 我妈妈问了我有关我功课的情况。

3. take care of照料，照顾，相当于look after。

take good care of = look after well 好好照顾。

如：
Please take good care of your child. = Please look after your child well. 请照顾好你的孩子。

4. Dancing makes people healthy and beautiful. 舞蹈能使人们健康和美丽。

句型“make sb. +形容词”，意为“使得某人……”，如：
The film made me sad. 这部电影让我很伤心。

Don't make the baby cry anymore. 不要再让那个孩子哭了.
6. draw与paint的区别：
两者都可表示“画”：A: draw 主要指用铅笔、钢笔、粉笔、炭精等画图、画画或画线(侧重线条)
B: paint 指用颜料绘画, 如水彩画、油画等画画(侧重着色)。

如：He drew a circle (line). 他画了一个圈(一条线)。

比较：draw a picture 与 paint a picture 含义不同：前者主要指用线条画成的“图”；后者则主要指用颜料绘成的“画”。
