Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl called Ella. She lives a happy live. Her father and mother love her very much and always buy her beautiful dresses. Unfortunately, her mother died and her father married again. Her stepmother and stepsisters treated her badly. They change her name into Cinderella. Cinderella had to do a lot of housework every day. But with the help of a fairy, Cinderella appeared at a grand ball as a beautiful princess! The prince fell in love with her, and they lived happily ever after.

Scene 1 第一幕
Reader（读）Once upon a time , there was a rich man .Who had a beautiful daughter called Ella .His wife had died long ago ,and he had married
again .His second wife was unkind to Ella .She made her work hard all day long ,and Ella’s clothes became ragged and torn .The stepmother had brought her two ugly daughters with her .They were both as unkind as their mother .
The stepmother and her two daughter comes in. (扫视一圈)
Stepmother Oh, how beautiful my house are! From now on there is our home. (开始四处查看，走进灰姑娘房间。

灰姑娘在房间里，看见她来了，站起来，叫了声“mother”) this room looks great. Helen ,jenny ,come here. This will be your room.
Helen(左看右看，对床) oh, nice bed! (坐下) it is so soft. (看梳妆台照镜子) nice dresser! Oh, I like the necklace.(戴上，照镜子) look, how beautiful I am!
Jenny (打开衣柜) there are so many beautiful dresses. (拿出一件，比划，照镜子) this must fit me very well.
Cinderella Oh, no, please, that’s my dress. This new dress is bought by my father(跑过去，想把那条裙子拿过来).
Stepmother（对2个女儿)Since we live in, they can belong to you!
Cinderella(一脸难过，对后妈) mother，you can’t do this. T his is my room. that is my necklace and my dress!
Stepmother this is not your room any more. You live in the kitchen from now on. And those are not yours.
Cinderella no! you can’t!
Stepmother Go and make the beds , Ella .Then do the washing and scrub the floors .
Cinderella why I have to do them?
Stepmother (凶恶)because I’m your mother and you have to obey me! Go and do your work, right now! (灰姑娘擦着眼泪走了)
Helen who is she, mom?
Stepmother She is your little sister. But it doesn't matter. But from NOW ON she is our servant.
Jenny she looks beautiful! Her skin is as white as snow, her eyes are as bright as the star. How can I stand a girl who is more beautiful than me living with me!
Helen don’t worried. She is our servant now. she don’t have beautiful clothes; She have to do housework; she will become dirty and never be beautiful again.
Stepmother yes, my girls. You are my daughters and you will become the most beautiful girls.(三人大笑)
Reader When evening came, Ella was always tired. She would sit down by the fire
In the ashes and cinders to rest and keep warm.
Helen (对灰姑娘)Look at you, down there in the dirty ashes.
Jenny We are going to call you Cinder-Ella, Because you are always sitting in the cinders.（笑）

灰姑娘一边擦汗擦地板
Helen (坐在沙发上)Cinderella, get me my sweater quickly, I feel a little cold.
Jenny （在门口站着，悠闲的样子，对着灰姑娘喊）hurry up! Cinderella，Prepare the carriage for me, hand me the glove, I’m to be late for my date. You are always so sluggish.

Helen (to Cinderella) You can make new dresses for all of us. We must have the most beautiful clothes to wear to the ball.
Cinderella Yes, I will make them for you at once.
Helen The King’s son will be there. I hear that he is looking for a wife. He might choose me!
Jenny (自我陶醉)I heared that the prince is a very handsome young man. He is very gentle and has good manners. I come in the hall as the most beautiful girl. The prince will fall in love with me and ask me to marry him.
Reader On the night of the Grand Ball, Cinderella helped her stepmother, And her ugly sisters to get dressed in their new gowns. Then she watched them driving away.
Jenny (哼着歌，摆弄着自己的头发) Cinderella，bring me my shoes.
Helen(照着镜子，转来转去)tonight，I'll be the queen!
Jenny （生气）Hey, I will be the queen, not YOU!!
Stepmother Okay, girls. You must put on your most beautiful dress and make up immediately!
Cinderella(小心地走出来问道)Mum, I want to go to the party, too.
Two sisters(轻蔑的)You? Look at yourself, so dirty and so ugly. (大笑起来)

后妈和她的女儿很骄傲地走出门外，灰姑娘很伤心地坐到地上哭了。

Cinderella(crying by the fire) Oh, how I wish I could go to the ball. Who are you?
Fairy Godmother(appearing) I am your Fairy Godmother, and I can help you go to the ball. Follow me.
Cinderella（悲伤的）thank you. But how can you help me?
Fairy Godmother(tapping with wand) I will turn this pumpkin into a coach !
I will turn these six grey mice into six grey horses to pull the coach .And a rat will become your coachman .Now you can go to the ball, Cinderella !
Cinderella But I cannot go to the ball in these ragged clothes ! I’m dirty and ugly. I don’t have beautiful dresses; I don’t have beautiful shoes.
Fairy Godmother(tapping with wand) Look ! You are now wearing the loveliest gown and the best shoes in all the land. You have a pretty face and a beautiful hair.
Cinderella I have beautiful glass shoes ! Oh , thank you , Fairy Godmother .
Fairy Godmother You can be on your way now , my child .But there is one thing to remember ! You must leave the ball by midnight ,because then the magic will end , and your clothes will be rags again .
Cinderella I will not forget . Goodbye ! (出门离开)
Scene 3 第三幕
（在舞会大厅）
Servant Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the prince-dancing ball. This night, our worshipful Prince Edward（这时，王子走了出来，向所有来宾鞠躬）will select the most beautiful and kindest girl to be his queen .Now, young girls, come to the front, please!（女孩子们走上前）（将头转向王子）Highness，how are they? Which one do you like?
Prince （皱起眉头）Mmm…I don’t think they are…
灰姑娘走进来
Helen （惊叹）Who is that beautiful girl ?
Jenny （吃惊，有些嫉妒，有些不甘，还有些不悦）We have never seen her before .
旁白：She's like a fairy. She's like an Angel. She's so lovely. She's like a princess. How pretty Cinderella is!
Prince (走上前，鞠躬) Pretty lady, may I be honored to dance with you?
Cinderella yes, I'd love to.（握住王子的手，开始跳舞）

Reader Everyone wanted to know who she was . Cinderella was having such a wonderful time that she forgot to look at the clock . The chimes of midnight began to ring out . (12点的钟声猛然敲响了,敲了6下)
Cinderella It is midnight ! I must go ! I am sorry that I cannot dance with you any more, sir!
Prince Wait, miss, please wait! （追上去）at least tell me your name！
Cinderella (急忙地跑，掉了一只鞋)Good bye, sir!
Prince (picking up the shoe) Come back ! Come back ! Oh , no ! She has gone ! (伤心)Pretty lady! Why are you leaving? I must find you!!
I will get my servants to take this shoe to every house in the land tomorrow .

Reader The next day , the Prince’s servants went from house to house with the glass shoe . Every woman in the land tried it on . At last , the servants arrived at Cinderella’s house .The ugly sisters ran to meet them
灰姑娘辛苦地在擦地，敲门声响起。

Stepmother Open the door my dear.
Jenny (坐着画指甲，头也不抬)Oh, Cinderella，you, open the door!
灰姑娘起来，在衣服上擦擦手，去开门。

Cinderella come in，please.
Servant Good morning, madam.
Stepmother Good morning. What’s the matter, sir?
Servant Are there any young girls in this house, madam? The pretty lady lost her shoe in the palace last night. The prince wanted to find her and marry her.
Stepmother:（笑着说）Of course, sir, wait a minute!（往身后招招手，让女儿Helen过来）
Helen （急急忙忙跑上前）let me try the shoe ! It will fit me .this is my shoe.
Jenny (大喊) No ! Give it here ! It is my shoe !
Servant No, It's not yours. It's too small for you.
Jenny It's mine. I AM the queen. Let me try it.（说着把脚伸进鞋子）
Servant No, it's not yours; it's too big for you.（再次把鞋子拿开）Stepmother Stop fighting over that shoe . sir, maybe it's mine. Let me have a try. I will try it .（急忙想要去穿鞋子）
Servant（马上把鞋子拿走）Oh, please, it couldn't be YOURS. Are there any other girls in this house?
Cinderella Good morning, gentlemen, may I try it?（款款走来）
Stepmother You? That’s impossible!（大喊着，做出“快滚”的手势）
Servant (looking at Cinderella) Every woman in the land must try this shoe .
Helen (laughing) But that is only Cinderella .（对灰姑娘）Look at yourself, PLEASE!（讥笑）
Jenny She can’t wear such a fine shoe !So dirty and so ugly! Please not to waste the solders’ time!（讽刺，一脸的鄙视）

Sisters mother!!(手忙脚乱)wake up!!
Reader Cinderella went back to the palace with the servants. The Prince was delighted to see her again.
Reader Suddenly , Cinderella’s Fairy Godmot her appeared again . She waved her wand , she said, My child, happy time is coming. Let me help you the last time. and once more Cinderella was wearing her beautiful gown and both glass shoes .
在皇宫里，王子坐在一旁，仆人走来。

Servant Highness! We have found the beautiful girl.
Prince Really? That's wonderful! I'll come at once.
Prince Will you marry me and become my wife?(隆重求婚)
Cinderella(smiling to the prince) (点点头，害羞) yes. I will marry you.
Reader And so Cinderella and the prince were married, and they lived happily ever after.。
