As a Chinese person, I am very proud of our unique and rich culture, especially during the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year, is the most important festival in China. It usually falls between late January and mid-February, and lasts for 15 days.
During the Spring Festival, there are many customs and traditions that we follow. One of the most important customs is the reunion dinner, which is held on New Year's Eve. It's a time for families to get together and enjoy a big feast. We also decorate our homes with red lanterns, couplets, and other decorations that symbolize good luck and fortune.
Another important tradition is giving red envelopes filled with money to children. This is called "hongbao" in Chinese. It's a way to wish them good luck and prosperity
in the coming year. We also set off fireworks and firecrackers to scare away evil spirits and bring good luck.
