Title: My First Week as a High School Freshman
Hey everyone! This is my first time writing for the high school English weekly report and I'm super excited! So, let me tell you all about my first week as a high school freshman in 2024.
First of all, let me tell you guys that high school is so different from elementary school! The campus is huge and there are so many new faces everywhere. It was a bit overwhelming at
first, but I quickly made some new friends and started to feel more comfortable.
In my English class, we had to read a really cool book called "To Kill a Mockingbird". It's all about fighting against prejudice and injustice, and it really made me think about how important it is to stand up for what is right. We even had a class discussion about the themes and characters in the book, which was really fun.
I also joined the school's drama club and auditioned for the upcoming play. I was so nervous, but I ended up getting a small role as a background character. I'm super excited to start rehearsing and working with the rest of the cast.
One thing that's been a bit challenging for me is managing my time and staying organized. In high school, there's a lot more homework and assignments to keep track of, so I've been using a planner to help me stay on top of everything. It's definitely been a learning experience, but I know I'll get the hang of it soon.
Overall, my first week as a high school freshman has been a mix of excitement, nerves, and new experiences. I can't wait to see what the rest of the school year has in store for me!
That's all for now, see you next time!

Hello everyone! It's time for the 39th issue of our English weekly report for the year 2024. Are you ready to dive into some fun English learning?
This week, we are going to talk about our favorite hobbies. Hobbies are the things we love to do in our free time, and they can bring us a lot of joy and relaxation. Some of us may enjoy playing sports like basketball or soccer, while others might prefer reading books or painting.
I personally love drawing and painting. Whenever I have some free time, I like to grab my sketchbook and pencils and let my creativity flow. It's a great way for me to express myself and relax after a long day at school. What's your favorite hobby? Let us know in the comments!
In English class this week, we learned about different ways to talk about the future. We talked about using "will" for predictions and "going to" for plans. For example, "I think it will rain tomorrow" or "I'm going to visit my grandparents next weekend." It's important to be able to talk about future events, so practicing these forms is really helpful.
We also practiced writing short stories in English. It's a great way to improve our vocabulary and grammar skills while having fun with our imaginations. Maybe you can try writing a short story about your favorite hobby and share it with us next week!
That's all for this week's English report. Remember to practice your English every day and have fun while doing it. See you next time!
