As we all know, the difference between male and female is permanent topic. For instance, it's universally acknowledged that man is more aggressive than woman and woman shows more patience in careful work. But when looking at the gender difference in social angle, we can dig out some trait in specific.
After watching the video of advertisement, I saw a woman with gentle and soft characteristic and a man with responsibility which firmly and constantly love and protect his mate in the lifelong. It may not make it to a big deal properly but it's still showing that in the traditional society, male has more obligations to love his wife and support the whole family.
This phenomenon has potentially historical cause. Before the 18 centuries, the era when agriculture dominating, male takes the physical advantage in strength. Because of the tough muscle and bone, male can run faster, lift harder and work longer so that male would get more food than female in the competition, even the status and power are more likely belong to male. The male chauvinism had developed step by step. Until today, we also think potentially that male is strong and female is weak contrarily. It's a conservative that the man should earn his family's live and women should raise the children.
In modern society, we still educate out next generation that boy must be strong and girl should be gentle under the traditional effect, which makes the gender difference continue rather than disappearing. However, it doesn't bring a bad news to us. Actually, the ladies with gentle belong to the nurses while the guys with courage and aggressive trait ought to participate in armies.
In the light of this statement, obviously, gender difference has become a gap which brings diversity to the society.。
