1.忍受,忍耐,经受住
•She was afraid she wouldn’t be able to bear the pain. 她恐怕自己忍受不了这种痛苦。

•Overcrowding makes prison life even harder to bear. 过度拥挤使监狱生活更加难以忍受。

•Make the water as hot as you can bear . 把水温调到你能忍受的最高温度。
