学生就业形式分析调查报告(英文版)Student Employment Situation Analysis and Survey Report1. IntroductionThe purpose of this report is to analyze and evaluate the employment situation of students in recent years. The report is based on a survey conducted among a sample of students from various universities and colleges. The data collected aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the current employment landscape for students and identify any changing trends.2. MethodologyThe survey was conducted through online questionnaires distributed to a sample of 500 students from different academic disciplines. The questions were designed to elicit information regarding their job search experiences, the types of jobs they have secured, the salary levels, and the challenges they face in finding employment.3. Findings3.1 Job Search ExperiencesThe survey reveals that 80% of students actively look for employment opportunities during their final year of study. The most common methods used for job search are online job portals (50%), campus recruitment drives (30%), and personal connections (20%). This indicates the importance of online platforms in the job search process.3.2 Types of Jobs SecuredOver 60% of the surveyed students secured jobs related to theirfield of study, indicating a higher likelihood of finding employment in a relevant industry. However, a significant numberof students (30%) had to settle for jobs outside their area of specialization due to limited opportunities. This suggests a need for career guidance and support systems.3.3 Salary LevelsThe salary levels obtained by students varied greatly. Around 40%of students found jobs with average salary levels, while roughly 30% secured jobs with above-average salaries. However, a worrying trend emerged, with 30% of students accepting jobs with below-average salaries. This could indicate a highly competitive job market or a lack of negotiation skills among students.3.4 Challenges FacedThe major challenges faced by students in securing employment include fierce competition (40%), lack of relevant work experience (30%), and limited job opportunities (20%). These challenges underscore the importance of internships, cooperative education programs, and career development workshops in preparing students for the job market.4. DiscussionThe findings of this survey highlight several key points. Firstly, students actively search for employment opportunities during their final year of study. Secondly, the majority of students secure jobs related to their field of study, indicating a positive match between education and employment. However, a significant number of students are forced to accept jobs outside their area of specialization due to limited opportunities. This suggests a need foruniversities and colleges to enhance their career guidance and support services. Lastly, the salary levels obtained by students vary greatly, with a concerning number of students accepting jobs with below-average salaries.5. ConclusionOverall, the employment situation for students can be characterized as both promising and challenging. While many students find jobs related to their field of study, there are still significant barriers to overcome, such as fierce competition, a lack of work experience, and limited job opportunities. Universities and colleges should strive to provide comprehensive career services to help students navigate these challenges, including offering internships, job placement programs, and skills development workshops. Additionally, there is a need for students to strengthen their job search skills and negotiation abilities to secure better salary levels.6. RecommendationsBased on the findings and discussion, the following recommendations are proposed to improve the employment situation for students:6.1 Strengthen Career Guidance and Support ServicesOne of the key challenges faced by students is the limited opportunities within their field of study. Universities and colleges should enhance their career guidance services to provide students with information on potential career paths, job market trends, and industry-specific skills. Career counselors can work closely with students to identify their strengths and interests, and assist them in developing a career plan. Additionally, workshops and seminars on job search strategies, resume writing, and interview skills shouldbe offered to enhance students' employability.6.2 Expand Internship and Cooperative Education ProgramsTo address the issue of limited work experience, universities and colleges should collaborate with industries to create more internship and cooperative education programs. These programs provide students with opportunities to gain practical work experience while still studying, thereby increasing their chances of securing relevant jobs after graduation. Universities can establish partnerships with companies and organizations to offer a variety of internships across different fields, ensuring that students can gain valuable industry exposure and relevant skills.6.3 Foster Industry-University CollaborationTo bridge the gap between academia and industry, it is crucial for universities and colleges to establish strong partnerships and collaborations with employers. This can be done through initiatives like industry advisory boards, where industry experts provide insights and guidance on curriculum development to ensure that graduates possess the necessary skills and knowledge demanded by the job market. Universities can also invite guest lecturers from the industry to share their experiences and provide students with real-world perspectives.6.4 Develop Soft Skills and Transferable SkillsIn addition to technical knowledge, employers are increasingly seeking candidates with strong soft skills and transferable skills. Universities and colleges should integrate soft skill development into their curriculum, offering courses or workshops on communication, team collaboration, problem-solving, and criticalthinking. By equipping students with a well-rounded skill set, they will be more adaptable to different job roles and employers' expectations.6.5 Encourage Networking and Professional Development Personal connections play a significant role in the job search process. Universities and colleges can organize networking events, job fairs, and alumni networking sessions to connect students with professionals in their desired industries. Additionally, offering professional development opportunities such as seminars and workshops on industry trends and emerging technologies can enhance students' knowledge and make them more competitive in the job market.7. ConclusionThe employment situation for students is a complex issue, influenced by various factors such as competition, job availability, and individual skills. While many students are successful in finding jobs related to their field of study, there are still challenges such as limited opportunities and lower salary levels. To address these challenges, universities and colleges need to enhance their career guidance and support services, expand internship programs, foster industry collaborations, develop soft skills, and encourage networking and professional development. By implementing these recommendations, students will be better equipped to navigate the job market and secure rewarding employment. Ultimately, by improving the employment situation for students, we can contribute to the overall economic growth and success of our society.。

The average age of the students is twenty one. It’s old enough for themselves to decide what they will do or what they want to become in the future. 30% of students from electrical engineering are female, and 70% are male. 74% of students from business administration are female, and 26% are male.2.3 Our detail proceduresFirst we have determined our major items of our questionnaire many weeks ago, and there are three major items of the questionnaire. The fist one is we want to learn students’employment trends of Shandong University. The second item is what students want to achieve from university and their future career. And the last one is what adds students employment pressure. The questionnaire were made and modified by our group and there were also a few questions we extracted from the internet. We administered questionnaires at the twelfth week. Most of them were finished in classroom, but there were also some finished in dormitory and on line. Before we asked the students answered the questionnaires, we had stressed that they must answer them honestly, unless we would cancel their questionnaires. And we indeed found some students’ questionnaires were not up to our requirement, so we did with them as we had told.We finally collected 133 effective questionnaires.2.4 Data analysisⅠ:students of college of electrical engineeringⅡ:sophomore of college of managementⅢ:frosh of college of managementFrom the result of this survey, 50% of students of electrical engineering choosing this major are mostly for the reason of good job opportunity. On the contrary, students of business management engineering more tend to potential employment and their interest. Nearly all the students of both majors are content of their learning subjects. When referring to their future employment expectations, most students hope their job will be more suit to their major, and there are also a few people preferring a more challenging job, because they more value their ability no matter what they will do in the future. After graduation, most students will choose to continue their studies or directly go to work, very few students choose to start a business or study abroad. The sophomore and junior students of the School of Electrical Engineering and the School of Management who continue their studies and directly go to work are accounted for about 50%,but the proportion of management of freshmen who choose to continue studying reach 85%.But for the sophomores may have a desire to society, so the percentage of students who choose to continue to study decline. Although no freshmen of electrical engineering polled, We conclude that proportion of freshmen of electrical engineering who choose to continue their study after graduation would be high too. And to those who choose to further study, most of them think highly educated for their professional will have great influence. Of course the reason why many students go to get a master degree is for the love of this professional and hope to get more professional knowledge. Few people thinks of their professional prospect is bad, and only to go to graduate school to get higher education, can they get a better job.According to the chart above, career stability, job prospects, salary and job interest are the common things students considering in employment. When we investigate intention of employment, students of electrical engineering more tend to choose state-owned enterprises, and 21% feel like choosing scientific research institution. But when we look back at the management major, we are surprised they almost differ from our major. More than half students of the major will go to private enterprises or sino-foreign joint ventures, there is also a large part deciding to start their own business. At the aspect of salary, students of both major will request a high payment of more than 5000¥per month. Because of the potential of open coastal cities and good living situations, people more tend to choose to work in there, and there are also a few people choose to international cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Only a little part will come back to small cities to repay their hometown. It has long been a problem that women have serious discriminati on in profession. It’s common that men have more advantages in finding jobs, especially in technological college, such as college of Electrical Engineering. And in college of management, 60% of freshmen think men are much easier to get a job than women in their major. What’s more, there are 90%of sophomores holding the same view. It’s unfair that women are tough to be employed. And there are other problems about the employment of graduates.1.More than a half students think graduates have too high expectations of their profession toaccept the ordinary job.2.There are about 50% students holding the thought that some companies have so high standardthat graduates can’t get the job.3.The rest of the students think government and school have not played an active role, whichdon’t offer enough information to graduates.1.As to our state encourages graduates to start their own business, more than 50% studentsthink it’s a challenge and opportunity to improve their ability and realize their dream, few has never thought of it. So we can see that challenging themselves is more popular with the young generation.2.When faced with employment pressure, 30% students will look for comfort from theirfriends or family, and 30% of them will try to work hard to add the opportunity of finding a good job, few people will pour out pressure to their coacher or classmates. What we can gain from the data is that on the one hand college students’ ability of solve problems is improving, but on the other hand we can’t deny they much more believe their family comparing with classmates and coacher. But they forget when in college the most helpful people are just their classmates and coacher.3.Most students suppose the most useful methods to solve employment problems are thatuniversities can provide with better guidance and service toward employment. More specifically, colleges can offer courses about careers guidance and planning, collect and settle social information of the talent market, publish the present situation of graduates and so on. 4.Another useful way to solve the problem of employment is that we should valuedeveloping our own ability. From the view of students, the employment units most care of graduates’ synthetic ability and professional skills. But in fact, it is not reality for employment units to find your synthetic ability is good or bad, the most effective of prove of your ability is yet your grade in college. So during the university, we should not only pay attention to our own interest and professional skills, but keeping a good grade can also add the chance of getting a good job.Part three: our discriptionThe purpose we do this investigate is not just to achieve some data, compare with students of business administration ,find distinctions and get our advantages in employment. We should learn from the distinctions and find where our shortages are in our employment psychology.First, compared with students of business administration, our students more tend to choose jobs of high payment and stability. Sometimes working in this area we can’t deny it lacks challenging and it’s no use for help develop our ability. Although the employment situation is well today, no one can ensure what our future situation will be. When facing employment pressure, maybe we should learn from students of business administration and choose jobs from primate companies or foreign companies. We believe our students can do better than students from othermajors. Then our students are common with highly expectations to their future careers, though we can’t say students from our university indeed have the ability to get a good job. And because of lacking completely understanding of the company and the job, it can also add our psychological burdens. So we should not only adjust our own employment psychology, but we need convenient conditions offered from our school. That’s all.。

大学生就业的现状的英文作文The Current State of University Graduate EmploymentThe transition from university to the workforce is a critical juncture in the lives of many young adults today. As students complete their degrees and prepare to embark on their careers, they are faced with a complex and often daunting employment landscape. The current state of university graduate employment is a multifaceted issue that warrants careful examination. One of the primary challenges facing university graduates is the increasingly competitive job market. With more individuals obtaining college degrees than ever before, the pool of qualified applicants for many entry-level positions has expanded significantly. This heightened competition can make it challenging for graduates to secure their desired roles, particularly in highly sought-after fields. Employers are often inundated with applications, leading to a more selective and rigorous hiring process that can be daunting for new job seekers. Moreover, the global economy has undergone significant shifts in recent years, with technological advancements and evolving industry demands reshaping the employment landscape. Many traditional career paths have been disrupted, and graduates are faced with the need to adapt and acquire new skills to remain competitive. The rise of automation, artificial intelligence, and other technological innovations has led to the displacement of certain jobs, further complicating the transition from academia to the workforce. One of the notable trends in university graduate employment is the increasing prevalence of underemployment. Underemployment occurs when individuals are employed in positions that do not fully utilize their skills and qualifications, or when they are working in part-time or temporary roles despite seeking full-time, permanent employment. This phenomenon can be particularly frustrating for graduates who have invested significant time and resources into their education, only to find that their career prospects do not align with their expectations.Another significant concern is the issue of student debt and its impact on graduate employment. Many university students rely on loans to finance their education, and the resulting debt burden can influence their career choices and limit their ability to pursue their desired paths. Graduates may feel compelled to prioritize higher-paying jobs or accept positions that do not align with their long-term career goals in order to manage their financial obligations.Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the job market, with many industries experiencing significant disruptions and economic uncertainty. University graduates entering the workforce during this time have faced additional challenges, such as limited job opportunities, virtual hiring processes, and the need to adapt to remote work environments.Despite these challenges, there are also encouraging developments in the realm of university graduate employment. Many institutions and organizations are recognizing the importance of preparing students for the realities of the job market and are implementing initiatives to enhance their career readiness. This includes offering more robust career counseling services, internship and co-op programs, and opportunities for skill development and networking.Additionally, some employers are actively seeking to attract and retain talented university graduates, recognizing the value they can bring to their organizations. These employers may offer competitive compensation packages, opportunities for professional development, and mentorship programs to support the transition from academia to the workforce. Moreover, the increasing emphasis on lifelong learning and the needfor continuous skill acquisition has created new avenues for university graduates to adapt and thrive in the evolving job market. Graduates who are proactive in developing their skills, staying informed about industry trends, and embracing the concept of career flexibility may be better positioned to navigate the complexities of the current employment landscape. In conclusion, the current state of university graduate employment is a multifaceted issue that presents both challenges and opportunities. While the job market can be highly competitive and the transition from university to the workforce can be daunting, there are also encouraging developments and strategies that can help graduates navigate this critical juncture. By understanding the complexities of the employment landscape, leveraging available resources and support systems, and cultivating adaptability and resilience, university graduates can position themselves for success in their career journeys.。

The job market for fresh graduates is becoming increasingly competitive. With the rise of automation, digitization, and globalization, many traditional jobs are being replaced by machines, while new job roles and sectors are emerging. This shift requires graduates to possess not only the technical skills taught in the classroom but also soft skills such as adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork. Moreover, the high cost of education and the limited availability of well-paying jobs have added pressure to thealready challenging situation. Many graduates struggle with the financial burden of student loans and find it difficult to secure employment that can support their living expenses. The underlying factors are diverse and complex. One significant factor is the mismatch between the supply and demand of skilled labor. While universities continue to churn out graduates with a focus on theoretical knowledge, the job market demands practical experience and skills that are often lacking in new graduates. This mismatch often leads to a disconnect between the educational system andthe job market.Another factor is the rapid pace of technological advancements. Fields like artificial intelligence, data science, and robotics are growing rapidly, but the educational system often lags behind in providing the necessary education and training to prepare students for these new job roles. To address these challenges, several solutions can be considered. Firstly, universities and educationalinstitutions should collaborate closely with industry partners to identify the skills and competencies needed inthe job market. This will help in curriculum developmentand provide students with practical experience and job-ready skills.Secondly, graduates should be encouraged to pursue internships and practical experiences during their studies. This will not only provide them with hands-on experiencebut also help them network and build relationships with industry professionals.Lastly, government policies and initiatives should be focused on promoting job creation and skills development. This could include providing financial assistance to graduates, creating incentives for businesses to hire young talent, and investing in infrastructure and training programs to support job growth. In conclusion, the employment situation for university graduates is a complex issue that requires a multi-faceted approach. Topic: Report of college students’ employment tendencyBackgroundOver those years, many college students had some employment problems. They always thought it’s a most important choice for them. We witnessed a rapid development in industry, agriculture, science and technology in China. But the pressure is huge for them at the same time.So we think it’s necessary to research this problem, and it’s meaningful to find what is the students employment tendency. My studyAt first I checked some information from some books and elected some questions which the society focus on. And I found some old questionnaires on the internet. Then I collected these questionnaires, summarized statistics and at last I made out our form. What I most want to achieve from this investigation are the employment trends of college students, the methods they often adopt when they face employment pressure and if there exists obvious gender discrimination when companies choose employees.LimitationMost of my friends who I asked them to do the questionnaires are English major students, maybe they will consider about their major when they do this questionnaires. So it may can not stand for all the college students.MethodFirstly,I made questionnaires in the computer concerned with employment. Then I distributed them to our my friends and classmates. After they finished doing them, I took them back and get conclusion from their answers.Research Questions1. Do you think gender has impact on applying for jobs?2. In your point of view, which of the following abilities will be the advantage when you look for a job?3.Which part is the most attractive one when you find jobs?2.2 The participantsOur major participants are sophomore and junior students coming from electrical engineering and business administration and a little part from freshman. And we indeed found some students’ questionnaires were notup to our requirement, so we did with them as we had told.We finally collected 133 effective questionnaires.2.4 Data analysisⅠ:students of college of electrical engineeringⅡ:sophomore of college of managementⅢ:frosh of college of managementFrom the result of this survey, 50% of students of electrical engineering choosing this major are mostly for the reason of good job opportunity. The sophomore and junior students of the School of Electrical Engineering and the School of Management who continue their studies and directly go to work are accounted for about 50%,but the proportion of management offreshmen who choose to continue studying reach 85%.But for the sophomores may have a desire to society, so the percentage of students who choose to continue to study decline. It has long been a problem that women have serious discri mination in profession. And thereare other problems about the employment of graduates.1.More than a half students think graduates have too high expectations of their profession toaccept the ordinary job.2.There are about 50% students holding the thought that some companies have so high standardthat graduates can’t get the job.3.The rest of the students think government and school have not played an active role, whichdon’t offer enough information to graduates.1.As to our state encourages graduates to start their own business, more than 50% studentsthink it’s a challenge and opportunity to improve their ability and realize their dream, few has never thought of it. We should learnfrom the distinctions and find where our shortages are in our employment psychology.First, compared with students of business administration, our students more tend to choose jobs of high payment and stability. So metimes working in this area we can’t deny it lacks challenging and it’s no use for help develop our ability. Although the employment situation is well today, no one can ensure what our future situation will be. When facing employment pressure, maybe we should learn from students of business administration and choose jobs from primate companies or foreign companies. We believe our students can do better than students from other majors.
