Step II Listen and answer Play the tape for students to listen with the question: What does Lucas want to do in the future? Step III Read I 1. Read and answer Ask the students to read the text carefully. Then work in groups and answer the questions on Page 74 in Activity Book 3. 2. Read and underline Ask the students to read the text again. Help them to
underline the important phrases and explain them to the students. I want to be My ambition is to be That’s cool. At the very top I don’t think teachers are rich. 课时 I. Grammar 肯定句变否定句 1．陈述句的`肯定句变否定句（1）谓语动词
是be，have（有）或谓语含有助动词、情态动词时，直接在这些词后加上否定词not。

例：She can swim．→ She cant swim．（2）谓语动词是行为动词时，
要在该动词前依主语情况加上do ／does ／did + not，该词恢复原形。

例：He gets up early. → He doesnt get up early．（3）既要否定谓语动词，又要变换句中的单词。

例：He can read and write．→ He cant read or
write．（4）用含否定意义的词或词组取代肯定句中的某些词或词组。

例：I know both English and Chinese．→ I know neither Englis。
