My classmates and I had an outing this spring. We had a good time. But meanwhile I noticed that water pollution in our city was becoming more and more serious.
On our way, we could see women washing clothes in the river. Litter was floating on the river. Waste water produced by a chemical factory was being discharged into the river. We did not see any fish in the river. The fiver was not so clear as before. Water quality was very bad. I am worried about it because water is important to all living things. Man can not live without water. I hope people pay more attention to this problem, especially the government. Try to control the pollution of water as early as possible.

With the development of modern industry and the growth of population, water shortage has become a growing concern for
Chinese government and people.
Several factors contribute to this problem. On the one hand, water supplies are being consumed by a growing number of heavy industries as well as the growing population. On the other hand, many rivers and lakes have been polluted. What’s more, the well-developed root system of trees can keep the water from diffusing into the earth, but deforestation at the upper reaches of rivers has made the situations worse.
To solve the problem, several measures can be taken. First, we must economize the use of water resources and practice a recycling policy. Second, stricter laws and regulations should be implemented to protect the limited water resources we have. Finally, more diversion projects should also be used so as to direct the surplus water resources in the Southern Chine to the under-supplied regions. In a word, stronger measures can and should be taken to protect the water resources we have now.
To sum up, water shortage is already serious in China these days. It is high time for us to do something to prevent it from being worse. Therefore, if everyone takes action to save water, the situation will be better.

Water is one of the indispensable conditions to human survival. If there no water,there would be no life existence. Water is like a great gentle mother who gives us life, so we should protect water resources to show how much we love it!
Although about three-quarters of the global area is covered with water, only one percent can be used. Lack of freshwater resources is a common problem in the world. One of the reasons
is that the global freshwater resources have a uneven distribution. And the other reason is wasting water.
China is one of the most water-short countries in the world. It has less than 1/4 of the world average water. By this token,we all can see how important the freshwater resources are for us. According to statistics, there are about two-thirds of the urban cities on a national scale that don’t have enough water to use. In the area of Loess plateau, the water consumption per capita only has about 23 liters. What an appalling number it is!
But in our daily life, we can see the scene of wasting water everywhere. We usually see the tap running water but nobody turns it off. And the water pollution in our life is also a common behavior. People always use excess laundry soap to wash clothes, and it always makes pollution.
Today the water resources are more and more important. In order to make the last drop of earths water is not our tears, let’s take actions,use our practical action to save water!
