高中英语应用文写作之报道(Report)
Learning objectives：

题型分析：报道是对新近发生的事情进行的如实描述。

对客观事实进行报道而形成的信息就是新闻，反映在新闻信息中的内容必须具有真实性和可传达性，因此，报道的特点就是用事实说话。

A CrossCountry Running Race
Last Sunday witnessed(目睹) an extraordinary(非凡的) crosscountry running race, which nearly drew the attention of(吸引) every student and teacher of our school.
The students( selected from every class) took part in the petition. The route measured five kilometers, from our school gate to the foot of South Hill. Every runner tried their best to finish the task, with their classmates along the way giving them necessary help as well as encouragement. At last, all the runners managed to arrive the finish line, receiving cheers from all the directions(来自四面八方的).
