The Asia Academy of Management is established to encourage management research, education and knowledge dissemination that are of relevance to management in Asia, with global impacts. The mission of the Asia Academy is to assume global leadership in the advancement of management theory, research and education of relevance to Asia. The objective is thus to encourage contextualized management research with Asia relevance towards global contribution to scholarship.

The Asia Academy is a global organization that welcomes all researchers and managers who are interested in management issues relevant to Asia. The Asia Academy is an international affiliate of the Academy of Management.
Regular members may complete the Membership Form, purchase/prepare a money order payable to "The Asia Academy of Management Limited" and mail it to the Secretariat.
Associate Member Associate members will not have the right to vote and will not receive the official journal. No membership fee is charged.

Regular Member Regular members have the right to vote and they will receive the official journal of the Asia Academy (Asia Pacific Journal of Management). The basic membership fee for regular members is US$60 (HK$480) per year. A discount will be offered if members pay a three-year fee (i.e., US$165 or HK$1,320 for three years). Members who are full-time students or having financial difficulties may apply for fee reduction by 50%. However, the three-year payment option will not be available for these reduced fee members.

Four academic conferences have been held and a journal is published through the partnership with School of Business, National University of Singapore.
The Asia Academy usually organizes Professional Development Workshops during the Academy of Management annual meetings.

The Asia Pacific Journal of Management is the official journal of the Asia Academy, which publishes original manuscripts on issues related to most behavioral fields of management and business in the Asia Pacific region. The APJM seeks to publish empirical or conceptual research that improves broad understanding of these issues. All Asia Academy of Management members will receive the journal with the payment of membership fees.

They are searching for ways to manage their operations effectively to benefit from this fastest growth region of the world.
