While 还有: (1)“而”之意， 表对比 Some are rich, while others are poor in this world. I was studying while my brother was playing. (2)“虽然”之意， 表让步 While(=though) I understand what you say, I can’t agree with you.
1.By the time... (1)by the time+一般过去时，主句过 去完成时 (2)by the time+一般现在时，主句将 来完成时

When /while/as
