摘要：1436116 Partitions GKN SANKEY Ltd 27 April 1973 [29 April 1972] 19997/72 Heading B7S [Also in Division E7] Partition panels for use in buildings or ships are formed of opposed metal sheets 10, 11 fixed in spaced disposition by rigid heat insulating material 12 adhered to each sheet. The sheets each have at at least one side edge, inturned flanges 14, 15 disposed in spaced parallel planes and each of a width less than half the thickness of the panel and disposed such that the shortest distance between the two flanges is not less than the shortest distance between the inner flange and the opposite side wall. The material 12 may be a corrugated slab of asbestos cement or vermiculite based material and the corrugations 13 may be filled with rockwool. Panels may be joined to similar panels at a rebated joint where the insulation material only of each panel is bridging the panel thickness. The abutting flanges 22, 14 and 23, 15 of adjacent panels may be secured together by a sliding key engaging a slot. Channels 35 may be welded to the wall, floor or ceiling, be filled with mineral fibre 36 and receive the panel edges.
