Nowadays robots are widely used everywhere. Here is one kind of robot.
We are happy to see a new doct or in use in hospitals. He’s very clever, but he never speaks. He can work 24 hours a day and never feels tired. He has a face like a TV screen. He has no arms or legs but lots of buttons. He is Dr Robot. Doctors often need to ask their patients about their health, but busy doctors can only spend a few minutes with each patient. The robot doctors, however, can “ask” a patient questions for an hour if necessary. They can make sick people who live alone feel happier and before meeting a patient, a human doctor will already know a lot about the patient from the robot doctors.
There are two different predictions among scientists. One is that such robot doctors will never take the place of human doctors. They will simply help doctors to give their patient s better service.
