本课建议用两课时。
第一课时学习板块一、板块二、板块三和板块五,第二课时学习板块四、板块六和板块八。
【板块说明】1.设计意图本板块以图片的形式呈现了晨晨和好朋友Steven一起打球,而妈妈和家人一起在厨房忙碌的情景;录音材料内容为Tom 饿了,要去厨房取食物吃,为下一板块谈论生日活动做了铺垫。
板块只呈现情景图、部分文本情景句型和为引出话题所需的问题,文本材料附在教师用书中,有利于培养学生的听力。
2.课前准备教师准备:录音机、磁带、光盘或多媒体课件、挂图等。
3.教学建议(1)板块内容教学建议①师生问好后,教师播放本课的歌曲:Happy Happy Home 创设轻松的学习氛围,导入本课话题。
②出示本板块图片:Look. What is Chenchen doing? What are his family doing? Why are they busy?Can you guess?③播放录音,学生听录音并回答问题:What are Chenchen and Steven going to do?1.本板块以分图的形式,呈现晨晨和Steven 站在厨房外谈论看到的一个蛋糕的情景,由蛋糕上的蜡烛得知今天是自己的生日,就在因看不到礼物而感到失望时,家人拿着礼物出现在他面前,给了他一个大大的惊喜。
板块内容高潮迭起,深受小学生喜欢。
本板块所要学习的目标句型有:How many candles are there? There are five. Are there any gifts? No, there aren’t. 同时学习情境句型:No idea.和单词candle.2.课前准备(1)教师准备:单词卡片、录音机、磁带、光盘或多媒体课件、挂图、转盘、骰子等。
(2)学生准备:教材图片3.教学建议(1)板块内容教学建议①播放板块六歌曲:Happy Happy Home.导入本课话题。
②出示本板块挂图或多媒体课件,让学生读图预测:Now, Chenchen and Steven are near the kitchen. What’s in the kitchen? What’s on the cake? How many candles are there on the cake? 出示单词卡candle ,学生开火车朗读。
③教师出示一些学习用品如书、钢笔等放在教桌上:Look, there are many school things on the desk. How many pens/… are there on the desk?引导学生回答:There are …④继续引导学生思考:Steven sees a cake on the table. Can you guess whose birthday it is? When you see a cake, what will you think of ? What will you do on someone’s birthday? Are there any gifts on the table? Why?⑤教师播放录音或多媒体课件,学生听音回答以下问题:Whose birthday is it? Are there any gifts for Chenchen at last?⑥教师再次播放录音,学生听音回答以下问题:How old is Chenchen? How many candles are there ? Are there any gifts on the table?⑦播放录音请学生听录音,跟读。
⑧学生两人一组朗读并表演对话,然后进行展示。
(2)活动设计建议①我是最佳小演员教师准备本课图片,放在一个盒子里,然后找几个学生抽取图片,根据抽取的图片内容表演对话,评选最佳小演员,此游戏也可以在小组内进行。
②转盘游戏教师自制或利用课件出示一个转盘,每个格子里写有单词如:candle, flower, gift, apple 等, 并配有不同的数字,有的格则是空白。
教师问:Are there any …? How many …. are there? 然后转动转盘,学生根据指针所指的格的内容回答 .1.设计意图本板块为操练板块,通过两人问答活动,进一步巩固目标句型:How many .... are there on /in ....? There are .... Are there any ....on/...?Yes, there are. /No, there aren’t.2.课前准备(1)教师准备:单词卡片及图片、录音机、磁带、光盘或多媒体课件、挂图等(2)学生准备:物品图片等3. 教学建议(1)板块内容教学建议①师生问候以后,教师利用多媒体课件出示一些物品图片,如:books, pens, pencils, candles, etc.让学生快看快说。
②就以上物品图片进行讨论:A:Are there any …?B:Yes, there are./ No, there aren’t.A:How many … are there?B: There are….③出示本板块教学挂图或多媒体课件,与一学生就其中一幅图的内容进行示范问答。
④播放本板块录音内容,学生听音跟读,然后两人一组进行问答练习。
⑤问答展示。
