(一)教材内容分析:本节课是听说课,侧重学生听、说能力的培养。

教材的主要内容是让学生体验新学期的新面貌,学习与新同学、新老师第一次见面时的英文交际用语,训练学生的口语发音以及语感,学习单词音标以及be动词与人称代词,让学生在实际情境中学会见面用语的英语表达法。

Unit1 这一部分的主题是自我介绍个人信息,包括:姓名、年龄、工作以及来自什么地方。

运用英语询问对方的名字、来自哪里,介绍自己以及新朋友,学会用礼貌用语向对方打招呼,并学习这些用语的基本单词。

对主要的语言结构动词be中am与人称代词I的强化,将介绍自己所需要的人称代词与be动词的功能有机结合。

拓展学习跨文化交际内容:国外自我介绍的礼仪以及询问年龄的禁忌等。

主要教学方式是通过训练学生的听说能力。

教学目标:(一)语言知识目标(1)能正确使用以下单词Chinese, from, where, ye ar, about, what about…? Ms, America, not, England, hi, American, our, grade, he, China(2)语法:能运用动词“be”的一般现在时的陈述和一般疑问形式。

(二)语言技能目标能听懂别人的自我介绍;能听懂包含自我介绍的简短对话。

(三)语言运用能在同学之间进行相互介绍(四)文化意识掌握在作自我介绍时英美人士与中国人的不同对答习惯。

(五)情感态度培养良好的人际交流态度,交流时要尊重对方的习惯,令对方感觉舒服。

(六)学习策略目标掌握自我介绍的表达方式,结识朋友,形成一个学习的集体,互相帮助。

Now let me introduce mysel f.My name is Ms Qu.I’m your new teacher.I’m from Dalian, China and I’m Chinese.I’m 32 years old.Nice to meet you.S: Hello, Ms Qu.The teacher goes round the class introducing herself to individual students and shaking hands with them. And try to get the students say "Hello,....My name is...." Then T reply by saying" Nice to meet you".(设计意图:用自己的图片吸引学生的兴趣,做出自我介绍,从而自然的引出话题以及重点句型。

与部分学生进行单独相互介绍及问候,拉近了与学生的距离,缓和了课堂上紧张的气氛。

)Step2 (7) Pre- listeningTask 11.T:Class, I’m from China.Where are you from?....Ask three students to show an example for the class. Then ask all students to practice like this:A:--Where are you from?B: --I’m from England and I’m English./ I’m from America and I’m American.2.Show students three lovely pictures and ask students to tell me where he/she is from and check the answers. Then ask students to practice with each other.A:Where is he/she from?B:He/She is from China/America/England.He/she is Chinese/American/English.(设计意图:首先由教师自己做示范,用I’m from China.Where are you from?来询问三个学生。

然后引导全班学生进行两层对话练习,让学生充分掌握be动词用法,为后面的听力扫除障碍。

)Task 2T: Now, you’ve met Betty and Tony in the book. Would you like to know more about them? Let’s listen to tape and listen what they are talking.Students listen and check (√ ) the number of speaker and Listen again to check (√ ) the words they hear(设计意图:简短的听力材料,完成课文第1,2部分听力,为下文的听力做准备。

)Step 3 (15)while-listeningTask1 Listen and answer the questionsT:Betty and Tony are students. And they are in Ms Li’s class with others. Let’s listen to the tape and see what they are talking about. While listening, you should think about these two questions as follow:1. How many people speak in the conversation?2. Who are they?Students close the book, listen to the tape and answer the questions(设计意图:听对话,初步感知课文,检测学生是否能抓住对话核心内容。

)Task2 Listen and check the true sentences.(Activity3)The teacher asks studentsto read the sentences in Part 3 and then play the recording again to get them check the true sentences.Play the recording once more to check the answer.Students do this exercise by themselves first. Next listen once more to check their answers with partners and find the original sentences in the dialogue.(设计意图:带着问题,让学生在听的时候更有目的性. 通过对句子正误的判断,以及从文章中找出原句这一环节,训练学生从听力材料中提取信息的能力。

学生再次认真听,获取有效信息检查答案,为下一步学习做好铺垫。

)Task 3 listen and answer two questions.(1) Where are Tony and Betty from ?(2) What class are they in?(设计意图:训练学生在听力中捕捉关键细节信息的能力,使学习活动更加有效。

培养学生自主学习的能力。

)Step 4. (15)post-listeningTask 1T get S read the dialogue and choose the correct answer. Then show some special sentence in the dialogue on the screen. Then ask students to practice in pairs:Daming is from Beijing .—Is Daming from Beijing?—Yes, he is./No, he isn’t.(设计意图:本活动主要是说的活动,通过问答形式进一步检查学生对对话内容的理解,同时学习“be”动词的一般现在时的一般疑问句。

)Task 2 Read the dialogue in rolesTeacher plays the recording again and ask students to read the dialogue after itStudents read the dialogue aloud and then show it in groups.Task 3 Teacher asks students to complete the passage according to the dialogue. (Activity 5)Students do this exercise by themselves first. Then check the answer in groups and read the short passage together.(设计意图:帮助学生彻底理清对话,充分理解课文,小组配合,分角色朗读对话,提高了练习的积极性,而且使得每个学生都有了参与的机会,并且能够相互帮助、相互合作,最终达到人人都张嘴、人人都敢说的效果。
