这节课是本单元的第三课时。

在本课时,学生将读到一篇饮茶起源的故事及茶叶的发展和传播的文章。

整个Section A的设计理念是意义优先,聚焦形式。

在本单元的前两个课时里,学生们已经通过观察主题图,聆听对话和表演对话对本单元的目标语句有了一定的掌握。

但是3a的这篇文章不仅给学生提供了一个提高阅读能力的机会,更为他们创造了一个增大目标语句输入量,在语篇中进一步体验,感悟和实践目标语句的机会。

让学生能更容易地在下一个课时“grammar focus”中聚焦形式。

二.学情分析首先,学生在以前的学习中已经对被动语态的过去时非常地熟悉。

但是对于被动语态过去时谈论发明的历史还是没有掌握不到位。

他们需要更多对目标语句的输入的语言环境。

其次,学生对茶叶的发明是十分感兴趣的。

而这种兴趣能够促使他们在本语篇中的学习中主动体验,感悟和实践目标语句。

三.教学目标1.教学目标:* 语言知识目标:1.学生能够正确使用下列词汇“accident, accidental, nearly, boil, remain, smell, national, trade”。

2.学生能够认读下列词汇“saint, popularity”.3.学生能够正确使用be(was/were) done谈论茶叶的发明及传播。

《An Accidental Invention》教学设计长春高新兴华学校迟琳一、教学分析(一)教学内容分析本课是根据人教版《Go For It!》九年级Unit6 When was it invented? Section A- 3a课文内容,本课主要介绍了茶的起源以及茶文化的传播。

语法重点为被动语态的结构和用法。

(二)教学对象分析1. 教学对象学生为九年级学生,经过两年多初中英语的学习,他们也有了一定的自主、合作、探究的学习能力以及用简单的英语进行交际运用的能力。

2. 本课教学内容为茶的起源和茶文化传播,对于中国孩子来说话题很贴近日常生活,也能激发孩子兴趣,从而对孩子进行一些文化渗透。

(三)教学环境分析为了激发学生参与的积极性,我选取了茶文化的视频短片,让学生在观看的同时对茶文化有更进一步的了解,也方便学生在学习课文过程中更加通俗易懂,还设置了预习茶文化的任务,并结合了信息技术、多媒体、学生自助合作探究、思维导图、课堂活动等让学生对茶文化有更深刻的了解,扩充如何泡茶内容,也让学生亲自动手泡一壶茶。
