1You know what's really cool? Learning English! My big sister studies Business English at Zhejiang University of Technology. She told me all about her super awesome major and I'm gonna share it with you!In the Business English program, you get to learn soooo many fun things. First up, you study all the English basics like reading, writing, listening, and speaking. But it's not just boring textbooks. The teachers make it really interactive with games, role plays, and even watching movies and TV shows in English! My sister said one time they had to act out running a business meeting. How fun is that? But it's not just regular English classes. You also take classes on international trade, business management, marketing, and all the things you need to know to be a business expert. My sister loves her economics classes where she learns about money, companies, and how countries trade with each other. It's like an exciting real-world math class! What's really neat though is all the chances you get to use English in real business situations. There are internships at companies where you can practice translating documents, giving presentations, negotiating deals, and communicating with foreign partners. Can you imagine talking to business people from America, England, Australia, and everywhere English is spoken? So globaly! The best part is the opportunity to study abroad for a whole semester or even a year! My sister's friend got to live in Canada for 6 months. She went to university classes with Canadian students and even worked part-time at a local business. She came back totally fluent in English and with a ton of international experience to put on her resume. I'm so jealous! But studying Business English isn't all just work and no play. There are all kinds of awesome clubs and activities too. My sister is the president of the English Drama Club where they perform famous plays and musicals in English. How cool is that? Imagine being Hamlet or singing as Elphaba in Wicked...in English! There's also the Business English Association where you can go on company visits, attend guest lectures, and participate in case study competitions against other universities. Oh, and they have parties and trips too! My sister went to Shanghai to explorethe business district and visit the companies headquartered there. Sounded like a blast. So if you like English, want to work in an international business setting, and have fun adventures along the way, then Business English is definitely the major for you! You'll graduate completely prepared for a globalized career full of opportunities. My sister is still a junior but she already has job offers lined up from companies who are impressed by her English skills and practical experience. Some of her classmates even got hired by the companies they interned at. The Business English program really sets you up for success.I don't know about you, but I'm totally considering Business English for my university studies now. Just imagining all the places I could go, people I could meet, and things I could do has me super excited! Learning English and preparing for an international career just seems like the perfect combination.Well, that's everything I know about this awesome major from hearing my sister talk about it. Weren't all those details so interesting? I hope you feel inspired to study Business English too. Just think about being part of the global business world...how incredibly cool is that?!篇2Hi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. Today I want to tell you all about this really cool university program that my big sister is studying. She's a student at Zhejiang University of Technology, which is a famous university in China. Her major is Business English, and I think it's such an awesome program! You see, Business English is all about learning how to use the English language for business purposes. My sister takes classes on things like international trade, marketing, negotiations, and cross-cultural communication. She's learning vocabulary and skills that will help her work with companies and people from all over the world when she graduates. But the Business English program at Zhejiang University of Technology isn't just about sitting in a classroom listening to lectures. No way! They have this really neat talent development plan that helps students get hands-on experience and practice their English in real-world business situations. Let me tell you about some of the cool things they do.First of all, the university has partnerships with lots of companies, both in China and internationally. As part of the talent plan, students get opportunities to do internships at thesecompanies. Can you imagine getting to put your English skills to use at a big, international corporation? My sister was so excited when she got to intern at a trading company last summer. She said it was amazing practice for her English and she learned so much about the business world.Another awesome part of the talent plan is the simulations and case studies they do in class. The professors give the students made-up business scenarios, like negotiating a contract or pitching a new product. Then the students have to role-play the situation using their English skills. It's like playingmake-believe, but for grown-ups! My sister says it's super helpful for getting comfortable speakingBusinessEnglish inhigh-pressure situations. They also have loads of guest lecturers and speakers who come to share their experiences working in international business. These are people from all kinds of cool companies and countries. My sister's class got to hear from a businessman who did lots of negotiating in the Middle East. He taught them all about the cultural differences they need to be aware of when using English in that region. So fascinating! And that's not all! As part of developing their English talents, the students also get chances to go on study abroad trips. Canyou imagine getting to practice your Business English skills in another country? How awesome is that? Some students have gone to the United States, the UK, Australia and more. My sister hasn't gone yet, but she's hoping to do a semester abroad before she graduates.Ooh, I almost forgot one of the coolest parts! The Business English program has this English Speaking Club where students can just hang out and chat in English. They play games, watch movies, and basically just get practice communicating in a casual environment. There are even international students who come and join the club to help the Chinese students practice their English conversation skills. My sister told me it's a really fun way to build up their confidence speaking English.Between the internships, simulations, guest lectures, study abroad, and speaking club, it seems like the students in the Business English program at Zhejiang University of Technology get sooo many opportunities to develop their talents. My sister is always talking about how the hands-on practice and real-world applications make the program so valuable.I may only be 8 years old, but I can already see how awesome a major like Business English is! Getting to combine learning English with exploring the world of internationalbusiness and companies sounds like a dream. Who knows, maybe I'll end up following in my sister's footsteps and joining the Business English program at Zhejiang University of Technology when I'm older. A girl can dream, right?Well, that's all I wanted to share about the super cool talent development plan for my sister's major. Learning a language while also preparing for a career in business just seems like such an amazing opportunity. I'm so proud of my hard-working sister and all her friends for being part of this program. I'm going to go to Zhejiang University of Technology and study Business English! My parents told me all about this great program they have there. It sounds like the coolest thing ever!In the Business English program, you get to learn all about how companies work and do business all around the world. But the really awesome part is you learn English at the same time. That way, you can talk to people from other countries and help companies make money by selling their products everywhere! How neat is that? From what my parents explained, the program takes four years to complete. In the first year, you focus on building really strong English skills. You take classes in listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation, and interpretation. That way you get super good at understanding and using English by the end of the year. My English teacher says I'm already pretty good, but this will make me a total pro!The next two years sound like a blast. You get to learn about all the key things companies need to do business globally. There are classes on international trade, cross-cultural communication, marketing, management, finance, law, and more. My dad saysthis gives you all the skills to understand how businesses operate internationally. You'll know just what to do to help companies expand and make tons of money in other countries! But here's the best part - in all those classes, you use only English! No Chinese allowed. That's how you get completely fluent and comfortable using English in a business setting. Just thinking about it gets me excited to become a business expert who can smoothly communicate in English. I'll be able to go anywhere in the world and help companies grow!In the final year, you get to put everything together. There are courses on business negotiation, entrepreneurship, business writing, interpretation and more - again, all in English only. You also have to do either an internship at a company or write a big thesis paper. I'm already dreaming of interning at an awesome multinational corporation and impressing them with my language skills and business know-how!The best part is, since you become so good at English and learn so much about international business, you can get hired by companies all over the world when you graduate. Maybe I'll even start my own global business one day! The possibilities seem endless thanks to this awesome program. My parents say the Business English program is really tough, but also super rewarding if you work hard. You have to take a ton of classes and there are strict requirements to pass every year. But they tell me it's absolutely worth it to become a true expert at using English in business.
