Given this point , it is very important for the teachers to help them expand their vocabulary . Second , let’s talk about teaching and studying methods◆Student-centering learning:many teachers often ignore students’roles in class. As a matter of fact ,it is not right . Teachers should know more about students’feature and then ask them to give a response in due course.◆Activity learning :students tend to lack interest in learning english .The best way to enhance their motive to learn is activity ,because most of students like activity .◆Group work : ask students to find partners to make a dialogue byusing some related vocabulary and sentence patterns that they have learned in this class . They can have a better understanding of language points by doing so.Third, let’s talk about teaching proceduresStep 1 Warm-upGreet to students and ask students how many days a week has. Ask students to answer my question .And then teacher give the correct answer :There are seven days in a week.From Monday to Friday we learn a lot of things in the school.Look,this is our class schedule.Today is... .We have... this morning.We have... this afternoon.So today we are going to talk about school subjects.Step 2 Presentation◆The teacher lead students to read and learn the English words aboutsubjects. After that ,the teacher will take out a vocabulary card that writes some words about subjects and ask students to read thesubjects in English and ask them to write it down .◆The teacher will lead the students to read the textbook in part A◆The teacher ask students the question that what day it is today andthen ask students to give a response in English . For example ,theteacher will ask what day is it today ?the students would answer :it is Tuesday /monday ..... ..... ...... .......◆The teacher let students listen to the material in page 16 and then askstudents to imitate and follow .◆The teacher show students the language points . Practice these words and phrases with “High and Low V oice”.P: To present the key phrases one by one is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings.2. CAI shows pics of sheep, cows and horses, let students to count the number. 2.欣赏歌曲:Old MacDonald Has a Farm.3.通过歌曲,引出新单词farm的教学。
Step 2 Revision1.复习有关动物的单词:pig,duck,hen,dog,cat,rabbit等。
教师出示一幅农场的图片,指着图片说:“This is a big farm. There are many animals on the farm. What animals can you see?”鼓励学生大胆积极地说出已经学习过的动物单词,以此复习单词pig,duck,hen,dog,cat,rabbit等。
2.复习表示数量的单词:one至twelve。
(1)教师手指着图中的鸭子问:“How many ducks?”和学生一起数鸭子的数量,复习数字one至twelve。
(2)出示单词卡片one至twelve,采用不同方法帮助学生认读及拼写这些数字。
(3)游戏——左邻右舍。
游戏规则:教师出示数字的单词卡片,请学生说出该数字的前一个数和后一个数,如:教师出示three,学生要说two和four。

Practice these words and phrases with “High and Low Voice”.P To present the ey phrases one by one is much easier for the students to learn and grasp the meanings.2. CAI shows pics of sheep, cows and horses, let students to count the number.
