一、教学内容PEP5 Unit5 Let's spell
二、教学目标
1.知识目标：学会ai ,ay的发音都是[ei], 会拼读单词rainy, rainbow, paint, wait, say, way,
birthday, Monday。

2.能力目标：应用读音规律拼读单词may, always, 阅读绘本wait, wait, wait, 读会故事中
的snail, Spain, train driver, mailman, sailor
3.情感目标：通过故事，体会Rainbow always shows after rain
三、教学重难点
重点:掌握ai, ay的发音并能利用读音规律拼读书本中的单词。

难点：运用规律掌握拓展单词，促进学生的阅读水平。

四、教学过程
Step1 warming up
1.通过已学歌曲our school, 引入way, day.
2.游戏：读句子判读正误。

Let’s play a game. Read and say yes or no.
Today is Monday.
This is our playground.
This is a birthday cake.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Step2 Presentation and practice
1.呈现热身部分的ay单词，问学生what’s the same? They all have “ay”
What’s the pronunciation of ay? [ei], it’s the same as the sound of letter Aa.
2.let’s chant.

Mother’s Day is in May.
My mother is always kind.
5.Task.
This is a long way home, but there are many blocks in the way, you should listen and write the words, then you can move away the blocks.

1引入Daisy这个人物，从她收到Wu Yifan的生日邀请邮件，然后她在等车途中的感想，到最后参加生日派对，依次呈现email, wait, rainy, rainbow, rain, paint等单词，同时再次复
习birthday, Monday, day, way, say等ay单词。

（1）I’m Daisy, I have an email from Wu Yifan.
I cannot wait, I cannot wait.
My birthday is on Monday .
I cannot wait, I cannot wait.
It’s going to be a fun day.
(2) I’m on the way to Wu Yifan’s home. It’s rainy, I’m waiting for the bus. Maybe
rainbow will show after rain, then I can paint the rainbow with Wu Yifan.
(3) Now I’m at Wu Yifan’s birthday party, I say happy birthday to him, I send him a
gift. “This storybook is for you.”
