一、教学目标
1、能听懂、会说、会读和拼写单词和词组sport, talk about, learn from。
2、听懂、会说、会读句型How does …spend his/her weekends?He /She often….Sometimes he /she…
3、能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语和句型I learn a lot from it. Of course,I do.同时能正确朗读和理解Part A。
二、教学重点、难点
1、能听懂、会说、会读和拼写Part A中单词、词组和句型,并能正确朗读和理解。
2. 听懂、会说、会读句型How does …spend his/her weekends?He /She often….Sometimes he /she…

四、教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1、Greetings:

Step 2. Preparation
1T: What day is it today?S:……
T: What do you usually do on Saturday? S……
What does he /she usuallly do on Sunday ? S:……
What do you usually do on Saturday and Sunday? S:……
(课件出示on Saturday and Sunday = at the weekend)
T: Saturday and Sunday means “weekend”.(课件出示end:结束,教读end,出示weekend:周末,教读weekend,并拓展语音/e/。)
So “on Saturdays and Sundays”= at the weekends (课件出示on Saturdays and Sundays= at the weekends)教读at the weekends.
(设计意图:“教是为了不教”,因此在教学单词“weekend”时,我并没有按部就班的进行教师教学活动,而是尊重学生的已有知识经验,让学生尝试自己去读,教给学生学习的方法,同时有意识的渗透有关英语音标教学,为学生的终身学习打基础。)
(设计意图:由学生熟悉的Saturday和Sunday引出weekend一词,有利于学生对这一单词的理解,同时又给了学生用英语解释英语的意识。)So we can say: What do you/ does he /she usually do at the weekends?
和几组学生对话,操练句型。
2.Now, I know what you usually do at the weekends. Do you want to know what
I usually do at the weekends? If you want to know ,please ask me: How do you spend your weekends? (指名学生练习读句子,并教学spend your weekends,)。教读spend;拓展词组:spend my weekends; spend your weekends; spend his weekends; spend her weekends.
(设计意图:句子的教学,运用学生熟悉的句型进行衔接,便于学生理解运用。)
指明学生提问,教师回答I often… .Sometimes I … .学习often ,sometimes.
教师适时反问学生,引出:How doe s … spend …weekends?指明优生先回答,学困生模仿,学说。
3.Group work:小组内用句型:How do you spend your weekends?和How does … spend …weekends?展开对话,说一说自己的周末活动。
4.导入课题:
Just now,we talked about the weekends. So today we’ll learn Unit 8 At the weekends.
Step3. Presentation
1.自学反馈:
1)小组互相读单词,词组,把还不会读、读不准的词板书,其他会读的学生自吿奋勇起来教读自己会的单词。教师注意正音,并适时做语音拓展。
2)指明小组讲解词组意义及用法,教师补充拓展。
如:learn a lot from it
learn English/Maths/Chinese from me/him/her/us/…
spend your/his/ her weekends
2.现在,我们除掉了拦路虎,再来看看书中的朋友们是如何度过周末的。现在请同学们快速浏览对话,找出对话中出现的人物,写在学案指定位置上。
3.请同学们跟读对话,划出动词词组,然后写在学案上。
4.听课文录音,并把人物和动词词组连线。
小组内交流,校对答案,用上How does …spend …weekends?,小组内的优生和学困生一对一结对子,保证每个学困生会问会答,教师巡回指导及时发现问题。
5.小组间交流展示:
大PK:运用句型How does …spend… weekends?组1挑战组2,组2挑战组3……回答正确的小组加1分,并取得挑战权,教师注意学生交流时的错误现象,并予以纠正。
6.学生自读课文,并完成表格;并在小组内讨论
小组内交流答案,用上句型How does she/he spend her/his weekends?注意让优生带动学困生练习说,保证让所有的学生开口说英语。
7.小组间交流展示:运用句型How does …spend… weekends?组1挑战组2,组2挑战组3……回答正确的小组加1分,并取得挑战权,教师注意学生交流时的错误现象,并予以纠正。
Step3. Consolidation.
1.学生独立完成填空,小组内校对答案。
