Paul was a 1.6-metre-tall basketball player on his school team, The Lions. He tried out many times just for making the team. However, he didn’t get a chance to play then although everyone knew he had real skills, and was someone who worked really hard and had a strong desire to play for the team. During the game between The Lions and The Bears, one player in Paul’s team got hurt and couldn’t play anymore. Someone suggested Paul to play. His coach first doubted but finally agreed because Paul said that I won’t let you down. Paul made shot after shot and finally his team won the game by two points. Finally his coach said to him “You’ve just earned your place on the team, big guy!”.

The coach learnt to be supportive of Paul when he was the one who saved the game and helped the team win. He may have learnt that he should never judge a person by his physical appearance but according to his ability.
