Persistence is a quality that I highly value in myself and in others. It is the ability to keep going despite obstacles and setbacks, and to stay focused on a goal even when progress is slow or difficult. In my experience, persistence is often the key to success in any endeavor.
One example of my own persistence is when I was
studying for a difficult exam in college. I had failed the exam twice before and was feeling discouraged, but I knew that I had to keep trying. I created a study schedule and stuck to it, even when I didn't feel like studying. I also sought help from my professors and classmates, and worked through practice problems until I felt confident in my understanding of the material. Finally, on my third attempt, I passed the exam with a high score.
Another example of persistence that I admire is that of
my grandfather. He grew up in poverty and faced many challenges throughout his life, but he never gave up. He worked hard to provide for his family, and always had a positive attitude even in difficult times. He taught me the value of hard work and perseverance, and his example
