Module 6 look after yourself
Part 1 Teaching analysis
随着物质生活水平的提高,人们逐步关注生活质量,诸如饮食构成和营养搭配、在家及外出的个人安全和良好生活习惯的养成的等。

本模块的话题是“健康生活”,内容设计“出行安全、”生活习惯、“饮食健康”、“充足睡眠”、“乐观心态”和“远离香烟和毒品”等。

语言技能和语言知识都是依据中心话题展开的。

第一单元从观察图片开始,引入本课主题。

对话以长途旅行中发生的事故为话题展开,内容贴近学生的生活,对学生处理突发事故也有指导意义。

对话涉及了多种时态,突出了本模块的语法内容。

第二单元通过阅读健康生活六原则来引导教育学生珍爱生命,在完成阅读活动的过程中培养学生分析和推理的技能。

本模块的写作是仿照阅读文章并结合自己的经历,写出自己的健康生活原则。

第三单元主要复习本模块的语法、词汇,扩大阅读量并完成模块任务。

Step 1 warming up

Step 1 Warming Up
look at the pictures. Say what the advantages or dangers are.
Ask students to think about the pictures and have a free talk about the possible advantages or dangers.
Step 2 read the passage
Which part of the text describe what you can see in the pictures and decide who the passage is written for
Suggested answer:
Picture 1—paragraph 2
Picture 2—paragraph 3
Picture 3—paragraph 1
Students may have a talk in pairs and then call back answers from the whole class. The answer is: teenagers.
Step 3Read the passage again and decide where these passage go in the passage, then answer questions on p51. There are no suggested answers. Students may have discussions with each other
Step 4 writing
1, make notes about the rules you read in the passage. Now think of one more example of what you should or shouldn’t do for each rule.
There is no suggested answer. Just let students have a discussion and call back answers from the whole class
2 think of a situation when you broke one or more of the roles.

3 write a passage. When the students have finished, ask them to exchange work with a partner for peer-correction of language and content.
