《姐姐的守护者》讲述的是为了让罹患血癌的凯特能够活下去，父母通过基因技术“制造”了与凯特的基因完美配型的小女儿――安娜。
安娜感觉自己只是姐姐凯特的“药罐子”，11年来，凡是在凯特有需要的时候，无论是脐带血还是白血球、肝细胞、骨髓，她都得源源不断的向凯特提供。
然而，即使有孤注一掷的妈妈、无可奈何的爸爸，以及身边所有人的爱，凯特的情况还是越来越糟，肾功能的衰竭必须要年仅11岁的安娜捐献出自己的一个肾。
这一次，安娜选择了拒绝，并且寻找到律师坎贝尔把母亲告上法庭，她要捍卫自己的身体。
然而，法庭上哥哥杰西却吐露了另一番真相。
原来是姐姐在她的男友因癌症去世早就有了轻生，放弃治疗的念头，只是不想她妈妈对她的期望，她才不敢说出来。
所以她想用这个办法使妈妈放弃治疗她的机会。
事情被揭露以后，凯特的病情也越来越严重，最后他们一家人陪着凯特走完她生命的最后一段时间。
看完这部电影，我们为姐妹之间的感情，姐姐跟她男朋友之间的爱情而感动。
姐姐凯特跟她男朋友都是癌症病患者，他们都是乐观坚强的人，他们两个在彼此的生命的最后一段时间相互支持，相互鼓励。
虽然有时候化疗等这些让他们难受得很，但是他们之间的互助让他们中谁都不感觉辛苦，因为此时他们身边有一个可以理解他们痛苦，给予彼此安慰的人。
所以即使两个人的命运都蛮悲惨的，但是你绝对不会觉得他们可怜。
因为我们很清楚能找到一个真正你爱的然后他又真正爱你的人真的很不容易的。
最后凯特男朋友的离去就让凯特感同失去灵魂一样，这样她没有了一直支持她，鼓励她，可以跟她分享快乐与痛苦的人，她的生存可能已经没有了意义了。

随着Kate病情不断恶化和Anna“维权”斗争的展开，这 暂时平静而温馨的生活如同脆弱的肥皂泡一般转瞬即逝。 隐匿已久的暗流终于翻涌而出，将一个冷峻的伦理命题摆 在了观众面前：Anna到底该不该给Kate捐肾？而这个命 题，其实根本就没有答案。

This book is written by a famous America writer Jodi Picoult.The content of the book is that Sara Fitzgerald's daughter Kate is just two years old when she is diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia. Reeling with the helpless shock of it, Sara knows she will do anything -- whatever it takes - to save her child. Then the tests results come back time and again to show that no one in their family is a match for Kate. If they are to find a donor for the crucial bone marrow transplant she needs, there is only one option: creating another baby, specifically designed to save her sister. For Sara, it seems the ideal solution. Not only does Kate live, but she gets a beautiful new daughter, Anna, too. Until the moment Anna hands Sara the papers that will rock her whole world. Because, aged thirteen, Anna has decided that she doesn't want to help Kate live any more. She is suing her parents for the rights to her own body.This novel has been made into a film. And theending of the film and the novel are quite different. The novel has a sad ending . Anna suffered a traffic accident and became a human vegetable . 据闻要降温，上班时只觉外边狂风大作，风沙横行，刚出门沙尘就吹进眼。
忒难受。

This story tells us about one family severely impacted by one of the daughters’ serious disease. There isn’t one only main character. Five family members all have their respective problems and troubles, and every part of them arouses my rumination.Anna, the first narrator of the story, is designedly birthed for a particular reason-- saving her sister. She is engineered particularly so as to donate her blood, cells even marrows to her sister from the moment she was born. To some extent, she is kind of a tool to keep her sister living and always have to take care of her. She has to give up her desires and dreams just because her sister is so weak and like she is dying every moment. This time, for the most fatal moment, not like donating only blood and staying at hospital for several days, she has to give up her kidney, which means a strong, athletic girl like her will never be allowed to play baseball, and maybe she will also give up the chance to deliver babies. On account of this, she decided not to put up with all this years’ pain and to charge her mother.Sara, the hostess of the family, once was a lawyer. After knowing her daughter’s condition, she gave up her career, and devoted all of herself into saving her daughter. She became sentimental and stubborn, desperate to make her daughter alive. Anna is kind of a tragedy for her birth at the first purpose is to save her sister, but as she grows, she gradually notices that she is important too.“See, unlike the rest of the free world, I didn’t get here by accident. And if your parents have you for a reason then that reason better exist. Because once it’s gone, so are you.”Anna’s statement, which appears in her narration on the first Monday, refers to the way Anna’s parents conceived her. When Anna says she ―didn’t get here by accident,‖ she means that her parents deliberately selected her, or rather the embryo that would become her, for a specific reason. They needed a genetic match to act as Kate’s donor in order to keep Kate alive, and the doctors told them that the best way to find such a match was essentially to create one. As a result, Anna was born. Anna, however, feels that her only purpose, in the eyes of her parents’ anyway, is to serve as Kate’s donor. The film ,especialliy Kate's mother Sara ,reminded me of a story of a mother,which took place in 1971.In the mid-night,A Chiness mother drove home on the highway.then,she got off her private car to distinguish the direction,leaving her two children in the back seat of the car.Very unfortunately,someone criminal got into her car and drove away with her children.The mother threw her high-heeled shoes and desperated to run after the car barefoot,crying and calling her children's names.Acctually she was just a delicate woman,but at that moment surprising strength burst out of her body.She ran so fast and the criminals was so scared that they abandoned the car and ran away.The mother was so exhausted and behind her,there was a trail of blood.But the truth was she rescued her children and the strong love for her children made her create a miracle.
