一般入学程序都要交学费及填不少申请表格，例如学生证、申请宿舍等。

我跟朋友说：“I waited in the student affairs office
“condition”in a crowded condition．”但同学Gloria则指我说错了，
一字应用复数“conditions”。

因为形容某人的状况时，我们可以用单数“condition”形容，例如指某人的健康或身体状况。

但当形容围绕某人身边的情况的时候，应该用复数“conditions”，全句应改为“I waited in the student affairs office in crowded conditions．”简单地说，就是“condition”与内在情况有关，而“conditions”则与外在情况有关。
