Ji'an is a Pretty Place (2,022 words)
Ji'an is a city in Jiangxi Province, China. It has so many fun things to see and do! The mountains are big and green. Waterfalls splash down over tall cliffs. Ji'an has lots of parks where kids can play and run around.
One of the best places in Ji'an is Mount Longhu. Mount Longhu has pointy peaks that stick up high in the sky. The trails go up and down and wind all around. Hikers can walk along the paths and look out over Ji'an. From up on Mount Longhu, the city looks tiny down below! The trees on the mountain are old and twisty. Some have grown around big boulders. Bright red bridges cross over streams that tumble down the mountainsides.
Another awesome spot is the Xiangxi Scenic Area. This place is famous for its cool waterfalls and rivers. The waterfalls thunder down from great heights, spraying mist everywhere. Some parts even have huge waterfalls that are taller than skyscrapers! The water smashes down with amazing power. Below the falls, foamy
rapids splash over slippery rocks. The rivers curve around in loops and zigzags. Along the rivers there are forests of bamboo that sway gently in the breeze.
Near the Xiangxi area is the Longquan Village. This village is really old and looks just like historical pictures from long ago times. The houses have curved roofs made of dark tiles. Cobblestone streets wind through the tiny village. Red lanterns hang outside the homes. It feels like stepping back hundreds of years into the past! Visitors can walk around Longquan and imagine what life was like for kids back then.
Everywhere in Ji'an there are amazing temples and shrines. Many have golden roofs that shine in the sunlight. Red pillars and fancy carvings decorate the temples. Clouds of incense smoke drift up from giant incense coils. The temples are peaceful places to relax and feel calm. Sometimes there are monks in orange robes walking around. Their robes are so bright and pretty!
One of my favorite temples is the Guangchengsi Temple. Its roof looks like a golden sailboat on a sea of green trees. Pathways loop all around the temple area. Little creeks and ponds shimmer in the shade of willow trees. Stone bridges cross over the creeks. The temple bell booms loud when it rings. It's
fun to walk around the Guangchengsi Temple and admire all the details.
Ji'an has so much cool stuff to explore! The high mountains, rushing waterfalls, and serene temples offer endless adventures. Ancient villages preserve history and tradition. Parks and gardens provide tranquil retreats. I could spend days and days wandering around Ji'an to see everything. It's such a scenic and fascinating place. I hope I can go back to Ji'an again soon on another fun family trip!

Taking a boat ride along the Ganjiang is a popular activity, offering visitors a unique perspective of the stunning riverbanks
lined with trees and occasional glimpses of playful monkeys scampering along the shores.

Ji'an Is Beautiful!
Ji'an is a pretty city in Jiangxi province, China. It has so many awesome natural sights to see!
First, there are the famous Longhu Mountains. They are super tall and have pointy peaks that look like swords sticking up into the sky! The mountains are covered in misty clouds and green trees. It's like something out of a fairy tale!
Then there are the amazing rivers like the Gan River. The rivers wind through the valleys like shimmering blue ribbons. You can go boating and fishing on them. The water is so clear you can see all the way to the bottom!
Ji'an also has lots of waterfalls. My favorite is the Dunhou Waterfall. It's huuuuge and the crashing water sounds like thunder! When you get close, you can feel the cool mist on your face. It's really refreshing on a hot day.
There are ancient temples too, like the Tonggu Temple. It's over 1,000 years old! The buildings are fancy with curved roofs and bright colors. You can burn incense and make wishes there.
The most awesome place might be the Lushan National Park though. It's a massive nature reserve with endless hiking trails through forests and up mountains. You can see wild monkeys, birds, and other animals! My class went camping there last year.
We cooked smores over the campfire and slept in tents under the stars. It was the best field trip ever!
