CV和Resume有什么区别说到简历,各位准留学生想到的是“CV”还是“Resume”呢?有同学会说,这两个单词不都是简历的意思吗?有什么区别呢?其实不然,CV准确的说是“履历”的意思,Resume则是“简历”的意思。

接下来,就和我一起来了解下CV和Resume的区别吧。

一:大体区别简单来说,CV是一个人经历的完整总结,翻译为履历表比较合适。

假如你有过任何论文,实习,工作,志愿者,各种协会,得奖等等的经历,都是可以写到CV里面的。

CV不限篇幅,一般字体比较大,行距也比较大,空白比较多,是让人看上去比较舒服的文体。

CV的作用,是让申请委员会能够有一个全面了解你的机会。

Resume,或者更准确一点,résumé或者resumé,跟CV的功能基本一致,就是对你的个人过往经历和教育背景的一个展示。

二:具体区别1). resume通常要比CV短。

Resume的翻译是简历,也就是简单的履历的意思!2)resume的内容以个人亮点为主。

最关键的一点是,resume是一定要根据你申请的学校和专业量身定做的。

放到我们留学申请的身上,就是要突出自己学习能力,学术能力,表达能力,等等跟学习科研相关的能力。

这一点在套磁的时候尤其突出,通常情况下,大学教授会选择看你的resume来简单了解你的学术能力,而不会在意冗长的CV。

3).resume的页面布局比较紧凑。

字号以9,10,11号为主,很少有更大的或者更小的。

行间距也不会太大。

但是切忌只顾追求密集的信息,而忽略了审核者的阅读体验。

真正有效的简历是既准确提供了读者需要的信息,又能够确保读者顺畅舒服的阅读体验。

由上不难看出,resume更符合我们所说的“简”历。

我们在申请过程中,查询学校申请材料的时候,可以关注一下学校需要的是CV还是resume,借此作为我们如何写、写什么的参考。

一般来说,resume应该写得更有针对性,申请理工科的学生应当突出自己的研究经历和学术能力,申请商科的学生可以多强调自己的实习工作经历。

Unit 12 Translation and Composition of Resume / CV履历的翻译附: 华夏饮食文化的英译赏析简历/履历的英译中文简历/履历:resume / curriculum vitaeResume: 源自法语,‘总结’的意思是个人学历与经历的具体记载,是谋职时必不可少的书面证明材料。

先学习一下示范简历。

1-2-3 (back)(调整:英文简历开头部分的Mr. 改为Miss。

)中英文简历的写作方法、写作目的和具体内容基本一致,但存在区别:1. 作用不同:在国内,英文简历是中文简历的补充,用以说明求职者的英语能力;对于外资企业,英文简历只是求职的第一步,雇主根据简历,判断是否安排面试。

2. 表达方式不同:项目不同(如前文样例所示)3. 侧重点不同:中文简历:谦虚为美德;英文简历:彰显个性,凸显优点中文简历:更注意个人信息,要求罗列项目繁琐,如性别、年龄、出生年月、民族、婚姻状况、健康状况、政治身份等;英文简历:以上信息被认为和工作能力无关,如果被要求提供,会有侵犯隐私之嫌。

简历英译的策略(再看英汉简历范例1-2-3)1. 讲究谋篇,用词简练准确:不能有含糊的词和句子出现;刚好充满一页,最多两个页面!2. 大量使用简单句式和无主句:目的是节省篇幅,突出重点。

3. 语气正式:实事求是,‘公事公办’。

4. 可读性强:文体虽正式,但也要讲究可读性,力求达到生动活波的效果。

它有很重要的生态意义,其值的大小制约着以此类型斑块作为聚居地的物种的丰度、数量、食物链及其次生种的繁殖等,如许多生物对其聚居地最小面积的需求是其生存的条件之一不同类型面积的大小能够反映出其间物种、能量和养分等信息流的差异,一般来说,一个斑块中能量和矿物养分的总量与其面积成正比为了理解和管理景观,我们往往需要了解斑块的面积大小,如所需要的斑块最小面积和最佳面积是极其重要的两个数据。
