Over the past 10 years, thanks to the country’s stress on cultural confidence, Han-style clothing has been developing into a fashion trend (趋势) . While a city in Henan Province has held four Hanfu festivals, Chengdu has hosted Hanfu fashion shows. Even a scenic spot (景点) in Sanya, Hainan Province, announced that those wearing Hanfu will be allowed to enter it for free.
Hanfu fans have developed websites and written articles on Hanfu, attracting more than 4 billion page views on Weibo alone. The rising popularity of Hanfu has also excited public interest in other traditional cultural forms. For example, Chinese painting, calligraphy (书法) and kung fu are attracting more and more young learners while traditional Chinese medicine is returning to hospitals.
Although most people agree that Han-style clothes look beautiful on people on certain occasions (场合) , there
is still heated arguments about whether the trend should be encouraged or not. Those support Hanfu say it spreads Chinese culture and looks beautiful. And it can also help teenagers know more about traditional Chinese art and culture.
However, those against it believe that a set of Han-style clothing may cost much money because they have to be handmade but not mass-produced. They also say putting on Hanfu and other accessories (配饰) , not to mention getting a hairstyle to match the dress, will waste a lot of time. They may be right. A girl I met in Suzhou told me that she had to spend more than 1, 000 yuan ($138) to rent a set of Han-style dress and get a makeup to go with it, which took two hours to complete.
Most people, however, choose to ignore such arguments. They just think that seeing people wholly or partly dressed in Han-style clothes while walking in a street is a "beautiful" experience.
61. Why is Han-style clothing getting popular?
A. Because it spreads Chinese culture and looks beautiful.
B. Because there are many Hanfu festivals and Hanfu fashion shows.
C. Because the country stresses the importance of cultural confidence.
D. Because people wearing Han-style clothing can enter scenic spots for free.
62. How many forms of traditional culture are mentioned in the passage?
A. 3
B. 4
C. 5
D. 6
63. Hanfu fans may NOT __________.
A. complain about spending much time putting on Hanfu
B. develope websites and write articles on Hanfu
C. believe Hanfu spreads Chinese culture and looks beautiful
D. wear Hanfu on certain occasions
64. What do most people think of Hanfu?
A. We don’t know about this.
B. They choose to ignore the arguments and just admire its beauty.
C. They support it because it help people learn more about Chinese culture.
D. They are against it because it’s expensive and time-wasting.
65. What’s the writing purpose of this passage?
A. To spread Chinese cultural forms.
B. To encourage more people to wear Hanfu.
C. To stop the fashion of wearing Hanfu.
D. To help people look at Hanfu in different ways.

It was a cold December day. I headed to the store to pick up another week’s groceries. I had put off shopping for Christmas presents until later in the month. I kept my music on while I was driving to avoid the radio news, which always spoke of the world’s hu ge problems and how divided we all still were. It usually just left me feeling helpless.
Still, I gave my son a dollar to put in the Salvation Army (救世军) bell-ringer’s kettle (水壶) at the door of the store. We went in and soon got our food. Then we walked towards the self-checkout machines. I hated using them.
I much preferred to chat with a friendly cashier (收银员) , but the line at them was very long, and I just didn’t have the time. As I pulled my cart (购物车) up, though, I heard the man at the machine next to mine complaining under his breath, trying his hardest not to curse . He only had a few things, but every time he put his old torn 20-dollar bill into the machine, it pushed it back out. I quickly took a newer 20 out of my wallet and gave it to him. He thanked me with a warm smile and paid for his goods. I told him to keep his money but he insisted that I take his old torn 20. I agreed, put it in my coat pocket, and wished him a Merry Christmas.
After checking out, I remembered something Mother Teresa had once said about how we all can change the world. “Help one person at a time ,” she said . “And always start with the person nearest you .” I reached into my pocket, smiled, and went outside. Then I dropped that torn 20 into the bell-ringer’s kettle and wal ked to my car happily.
