即从句中的动词使用

注意:
1) 在suggestion,proposal,order,plan,idea,advice,decision等需要有内涵的名词后面的表语从句、同位语从句中,要使用虚拟语气。
其谓语动词应用:______+______,另外连接从句的that不能_______。
例:

2) 在坚持/命令/建议/要求等的被动形式的主语从句中要使用虚拟语气。
如:It is/was suggested /ordered / demanded / proposed that sb. should do
例:It‘s requested that we should keep the stability of the society for the people’s peaceful life.

4、It’s necessary/strange/natura l/ important/pity/no wonder/impossible + that Clause 从句中的动词要用should+动词原形,should表示“居然”,一般不省略。

你居然会这样想,真是一件憾事。

5. It is (high) time that sb. did sth. / should do sth.
It is (high) time that 后面的从句谓语动词要用过去式或用should加动词原形,但should不可省略。

6. would rather 后的宾语从句。
如:
1) I would rather you could teach me again.
2) We had a good time at the party last night. I would rather you had joined us.

语法归纳:虚拟语气在would rather 后的宾语从句的用法

7. without, but for ( 要不是)引起的虚拟语气。
1)Without your help, I wouldn’t have passed the exam

8. as if,as though引导的从句。
以as if 、as though(似乎,仿佛)引出的方式状语从,如果表示真实情况应该用直陈语气;如果表示非真实情况则应该用虚拟语气, 其谓语动词的虚拟式与wish后面宾语从句中谓语动词的虚拟式相同。
The little boy knows so many things as if he were a man.
He acted as usual as though nothing had happened.
The boy acted as if he __________ ( live ) in Canada before.
9. 虚拟语气用在but (但是), or / otherwise(否则)引导的句子中
I could have helped you last night. But I was too busy with my children.
I was too busy with my children. Or/ otherwise I could have helped you last night.
10. 由if only (要是……,那该多好啊!)引导的惊叹句。
如:
If only I had passed the test !
If only it stopped raining!
