老板向员工解释工作政策的英语作文
Hi everyone! I'm the boss here and I want to tell you all about the rules we have at our workplace. These are very important so you better listen up!
First of all, we have something called "work hours." That means there are certain times when you have to be here working. The work hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. During those times, you can't be playing video games or watching TV - you have to be working hard! If you're late more than 3 times, you'll get in big trouble. The really really bossy boss upstairs doesn't like it when people are late.
Now let me talk about "time off." That means times when you don't have to come to work. You get two weeks of vacation time every year! That's 10 whole days you can take off and go have fun. But you have to let me know really far in advance when you want to take vacation, okay? Like at least a month ahead of time. Otherwise I might not have enough people here to do all the work.
You also get sick days - that's days you can take off if you're not feeling well. You get 5 sick days per year, but you have to call me on the phone that morning if you plan to use one. No just
sending an email! And if you fake being sick, that's not good. You'll get in huge trouble!
Speaking of phones, you're not allowed to be on your phone very much at work. A little bit is okay, like if your mom texts you. But if you spend too much time playing games and going on social media, I'll have to take your phone away! This is a place for working, not goofing off.
Now let's talk about dress code. You can't just wear your pajamas or workout clothes to the office. You have to look nice and professional. That means button-down shirts, dress pants, and nice shoes for the boys. For the girls it means dresses, skirts, blouses, and dress shoes. No ripped or stained clothes allowed! If you don't dress properly, I'll send you home to change.
It's also really important to be nice to everyone here and not fight or bully. If I see anyone being mean, you'll go straight to the corner for a timeout! And you may get a suspension, which means you can't come to work for a few days. The worst punishment is getting fired - that means you can never come back here again. So be on your best behavior!
I want to talk about a couple of work benefits too. One of them is your paycheck. That's the money you get from working here. The harder you work, the more money you'll get! But if you
slack off, your paycheck will be tiny. Another benefit is lunch break - you get one hour in the middle of the day to relax and eat your lunch from home. There's also snack times where we'll provide juice boxes and animal crackers!
Lastly, let me explain something called "meetings." Sometimes I'll call everyone into the conference room to talk about work. You have to sit quietly, raise your hand to speak, and pay attention the whole time. No doodling, no chit-chatting with your friends, no goofing around. Meetings are super serious!
