t was not until 1960 that three Chinese climbers first succeeded in standing on the top of Qomolangma by climbing the north face of the mountain.直到1960年才有三名中国登⼭员从⼭峰北⾯成功地攀上了珠穆朗玛峰顶。
For over two months they made their way up the mountain. They faced the cold weather and strong winds with snow.Tents, sleeping bags, food—everything they used had to be carried. 他们⼀路向上攀登，历时两个多⽉。
