You might think the 4G mobile connection on your phone is pretty fast. 然而,一种更快更强的技术已经到来。

5G networks have introduced us to a new world.
What is 5G? It's the latest network technology. On the one hand, 5G is super fast. People are able to use the Internet at a much greater speed than before. 5G increases the download(下载) speed to up to 20 Gb per second—much faster than 4G's 1 Gb per second. That means a movie can be downloaded in just a few seconds! On the other hand, your video calls and other kinds of communication online are more stable(稳定的). Most importantly, 5G makes the “Internet of Things” possible. We can connect not only people to people, but also people to machines, or to just about anything with 5G. For example, the lights in your living room, the refrigerator in your kitchen—all of them can be controlled with your phone. Outside of the home, factory owners are able to use it to control their robots.
China leads the world in the number of 5G-related patents(专利) it owns, with Huawei owning over 13,000 patents. Because of the country's large number of mobile phone users, China is also expected to become the world's largest market for 5G over the next few years. Of course, China isn't the only country with 5G technology.
But that's not all. Researchers at Hiroshima University in Japan, as well as those of Southeast University in China, are already working on technology that is even faster than 5G. However, 6G probably won't become commercially(商业地) available until 2030.

Language exchanges can be one of the best ways to improve conversation skills. They give people more opportunities to experience the differences between real conversations and classroom learning. However, doing a language exchange without knowing what to expect can sometimes lead to a waste of time.
Here are some tips on how to have a great language exchange.
·Ask yourself some important questions
The most important question to ask yourself is why you want to learn a second language.
Another question to ask yourself is how much time you're willing to spend on this.
·Find the right partner
Many websites have hundreds of partners to choose from in the language you want to learn. So how can you limit your search? The first thing you should know is that people who have been active and have a reason to learn the language are likely to be good partners. Another thing to keep in mind is that it is better to find two exchange partners. People lead a busy life, and one person can not be available(有空的) all the time.
·Be clear about your expectations
Once you find a partner, be clear about what your expectations are. Explain to the person how long you'd like the meetings to be and how often you'd like to meet.
·Be prepared
Before each meeting, prepare some questions on a topic of your choice. That will give you the chance to look up related(相关的) words as well as think about your own answers. Preparing topics ahead of time will also help you avoid having nothing to say at your meetings.
·Don't be picky(挑剔的)
You should keep in mind that during meetings the main goal is practicing conversations. 因此,不要害怕犯错。

And it's important to let your partner speak freely, even if he or she makes mistakes.

Most people have map apps on their phones that can show their location. 它们能够指引你到达你想去的地方。

But how do these apps know your location at any time or place? They find you by using satellite navigation(satnav) systems(卫星导航系统).
History of Satnav Systems
A satnav system uses groups of satellites to find the users' accurate(精确的) location. This location data is then sent to a receiver, such as a smartphone.
The first satnav system was the Global Positioning System(GPS), which belongs to the United States. First used in 1970s, the system was the world's leading satnav system. But China's satnav system, BeiDou, is more accurate than the other satnav systems.
China sent BeiDou's first navigation satellite into space in 2000. China became the third country to build a satnav system after the US and Russia. As of right now, over 30 countries in Africa and the Middle East are using BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
With its world-leading technology, BeiDou is leading Chinese people to a better life by playing important roles in different areas. For example, as of April, over 6.2 million vehicles(车辆) in China were using BeiDou for navigation. At the newly-built Beijing Daxing International Airport, BeiDou has been used to keep track of(追踪) loading and unloading vehicles indoors and outdoors. When the airport fully opens, each baggage cart will have BeiDou navigation equipment to help passengers get their luggage faster.

Insects may seem disgusting(令人恶心的) to many people, but some of them are edible(可食用的). 事实上,世界上有很多人每天吃昆虫。

Researchers said the number could be about 2 billion(十亿). People from Asia, Africa and Latin America have eaten insects for over a thousand years. There are about 2,000 kinds of edible insects. The most common ones people eat include beetles, caterpillars, bees, wasps and ants.
Nowadays eating insects is popular in many cultures. Martha Ortiz is a cook at Ella Canta, a Mexican restaurant in London. These days, she is trying to introduce insect dishes into the menu of her restaurant. And more and more restaurants and companies around the world have started offering edible insects.
Why should we eat insects? First of all, insects are not only delicious, they are also high in protein(蛋白质). So it is healthy to eat insects. Secondly, eating insects can help the environment. As we know, eating meat makes global warming(全球变暖) worse. If people worldwide eat
insects, it will greatly cut down on the need for meat and help fight global warming.
By 2050, the earth will have more than 9 billion people to feed. How will we feed so many mouths then? Will insects be the food of the future? Anything is possible.

In most people's eyes, hackers(黑客) are mysterious and dangerous. 但事实上,有很多不同类型的黑客。

Those who use their skills to commit or attack others are called black hats. It's common for them to attack people simply because they don't like them or hack for personal gain(利益),such as
stealing bank card numbers or selling information to criminal groups.
However, not all hackers are dangerous. White hat hackers use their skills to test and improve cyber-security(网络安全) systems. When they find a problem, they report it to the system's designers to fix the problem. Although many white hats do this out of personal interests, they are also rewarded. They can usually get lots of money for finding security problems. Computer companies also employ them as security experts. There are also many competitions for white hats.
