Step 1: Greetings
T:Class is begin.
Ss:(stand up and sing “Good moring to you!”)Good moring Miss Du. At the beginning of our class,I divided tow groups, boys group,girls group.If you do well,I
will give you a present.
Step 2: Lead-in
Last lesson we learnt some festivals about west country, for example: Thanksgiving Day and Flag Day. What do they do on those festival? They carry flags and sing songs. They say “thank you”for their food,family,friends.If we meet some foreigners,you want to introduce our cultures,what do we say in English?Today we are going to study Module 4 Unit 2 What’s your favourite
festival
Step 3: Presentation
OK! Now I have some cards from China.
Look at No.1 What is it? (春节) Spring festival.(Introduce) Repeat “spring”say it loudly or lowly by teacher’s hand. Master the “Spring
festival”.
No.2 What is it? (元宵节) Lantern festival. (Introduce)
Repeat “Lantern” Say it by groups. Master the Lantern
festival.
No.3 What is it? (端午节) Drangon Boat Festival. (Introduce) Divid boys group and girls group,read “drangon”, “boat”. Master Drangon Boat Festival.
No.4 What is it? (中秋节) Mid-Autunm Festival.
(Introduce) Read “Autunm”.I say “Autunm” (lowly),you say “Autunm” (loudly) .Master Mid-Autunm
Festival.
Step 4:Practicing
Read the festivals with your partner. After that the teacher check the students.
Step 5: Listening
It’s time for our listening.Now let’s begin! The teacher plays the tape. Students listen.
Step 6: Competetion
It’s time for our competetion.
