Hey everyone, it's me, a little 5th grader here to tell you all about my fantastic time at the Hello 2024 English competition!
The day started off super early and I was so excited that I could hardly sleep the night before. I got up, got dressed in my best outfit, and made sure to eat a good breakfast before heading out to the competition. When I arrived, I saw so many other students from different schools, all looking just as excited as me.
The first part of the competition was a spelling bee, and let me tell you, I was so nervous standing up there in front of
everyone. But I took a deep breath, spelled my words carefully, and before I knew it, I had made it to the final round! I couldn't believe it when I won first place in the spelling bee – I even got a shiny medal!
After the spelling bee, we had a storytelling competition where we had to come up with our own original story and tell it in front of a panel of judges. I told a funny story about a mischievous monkey and his adventures in the jungle. Everyone was laughing and clapping along, and I felt so proud of myself for coming up with such a great story.
At the end of the day, they announced the winners of the competition, and I was shocked to hear my name called out as the overall champion! I couldn't stop smiling as I went up to receive my trophy and certificate. It was such an amazing feeling to know that all my hard work had paid off.
Hello 2024 was definitely a day to remember, and I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about it. I feel like a real champion, and I know that I'll always have this special memory to look back on. Hello 2024! My name is Sarah and I am so excited to write this article to share with you all the amazing things that have happened this year!
First of all, can you believe that we are already in 2024? Time flies so fast! This year has been full of fun adventures and new experiences for me. One of the coolest things I did was go on a camping trip with my family. We roasted marshmallows over a campfire, told spooky stories, and even saw shooting stars in the night sky! It was so much fun!
I also started learning how to play the guitar this year. It's been a bit challenging, but I practice every day and I'm getting better and better. Maybe one day I'll be able to play in a band with my friends!
2024 has also been a year of surprises. I joined the school talent show on a whim and ended up winning first place! I sang my favorite song and everyone clapped and cheered for me. It was a moment I will never forget.
