“谢意送人心”英语教案
Gratitude is a powerful emotion that can have a profound impact on the way we interact with others. When we express gratitude, we acknowledge the good that others bring into our lives, which can encourage positive relationships and build a sense of community. In this English lesson plan, we will explore the concept of gratitude, its importance, and how we can express our appreciation to others.
Objective
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
-Understand the concept of gratitude and its importance in building positive relationships
-Identify different ways of expressing gratitude in English
-Write a thank you note expressing gratitude in a thoughtful and sincere way
Materials Needed
-Whiteboard and markers
-Handouts with examples of thank you notes
-Pen and paper for students to write their own thank you notes
Procedure
1.Warm-up activity (10 minutes)
To get students in the right mindset for the lesson,
start with a warm-up activity that focuses on expressing gratitude. You could ask students to turn to a partner and name one thing they are grateful for, or write down three things they are grateful for in their lives.
2.Presentation (20 minutes)
To introduce the concept of gratitude, write the definition on the whiteboard and discuss its importance in building positive relationships. You can use real-life examples to demonstrate different scenarios where expressing gratitude would be appropriate, such as thanking a friend for a kind gesture or thanking a teacher for their support in the classroom.
3.Discussion (15 minutes)
Ask students to discuss different ways of expressing gratitude in English. Some examples could include saying thank you, writing a thank you note, giving a small gift, or doing a good deed in return. Encourage students to share
their own experiences of giving and receiving gratitude.
4.Writing activity (30 minutes)
Hand out examples of thank you notes and ask students to write their own thank you note to someone in their lives. The note should be thoughtful and sincere, expressing genuine gratitude for something specific that the person has done. Encourage students to take their time with this activity and make it personal to the recipient.
5.Closing activity (10 minutes)
Have students share their thank you notes with the class or in small groups. Ask them to reflect on how it felt to express gratitude and to receive it.
Conclusion
Gratitude is an important concept that can enhance our relationships and make us feel more connected to others. By incorporating gratitude into our daily lives, we can build
stronger bonds with the people around us and create a more positive and caring community. This lesson plan provides a foundation for students to cultivate gratitude and express it in English.。
