一、教学目标：

故事图片、小熊玩具、题图、黄色手套、PPT展示
三、教学过程：
Step1：Warm up
1. Teacher shows some fruits picture on the PPT.
2. Ask students these questions:
What is your favorite fruit?
Do you know how to ask others to eat fruits with you?
Step2：Introduce the story
1. Introduce the story “The Big Bear Invites Everyone”.
2. Teacher asks students to look at the pictures, and ask them what they see in each picture.
Step3：Pre-reading
1. Teacher ask students to look at the following questions.
What is the big bear doing?
What are the other animals doing?
What will happen in the story?
Step4：Reading
1. Teacher start reading the story.
2. Teacher reads the story loudly and slowly, and ask students to listen carefully.
3. After the story is read, teacher ask questions to students to check their understanding.
Step5：Post-reading
1. Teacher asks students to role play the story with the provided props and costumes.
2. Students enact the story with the help of props and costumes.
3. After the activity, teacher ask students in pairs to invite and accept or refuse invitations to a party.
Step6：Language Focus
1. Teacher introduces some polite phrases and sentence patterns in expressing invitations, accepts, and refuses.
2. Teacher demonstrates the usage of these phrases and asks students to use them in dialogs with partners.
Step7：Summarization
1. Teacher asks some students to summarize the story they enacted.
2. Teacher praises students’ achievements and summarizes the class activities.
