Teaching objectives:

Students can read and act the dialogue with correct pronunciation and intonation.

Students should establish a sense of respect for various professions and cultivate the spirit of never giving up their dreams.
(5)Cultural awareness goals:
Students can develop cross-cultural awareness and competence and enhance cultural understanding.
The important and difficult points of teaching:

The teaching process:
Step1.Warming up
The teacher played the song"Tell me about your holiday"and asked the students to sing along。
Teacher:Students,after listening to this song,the teacher
wants to ask you a question:what is your hobby?
And ask the students to answer。

Teacher:Students really have different interests.Our hobbies are likely to influence the career we want to take in the
future.Do you know how to ask people and express what do you want to do?

Step2.Presentation
Show the two pictures from the textbook and ask:What are
they talking about?
Show the students a video and ask students to find the
answer from this video.
After watching the video,ask the students to answer the
questions.
Show the two listening questions from the textbook and
translate the questions.
Play the video again and ask the students to watch the
video again with the questions and circle the answers.
Ask the student to say the answer he has circled,the
teacher announces the correct answer.
Step3Practice
Play a video about the conversation in the textbook.Let the students read in a and understand the pronunciation and intonation.
While watching,students underline words or sentences that they cannot read and do not know t heir meaning.
The teacher read it again,highlighting the difficult words and phrases.
The teacher leads a sentence,the students follow a sentence,after reading,find the students to r ead.
Let the students read aloud in different roles with their
deskmates。
And find two or three groups of students to show.

The students read the text once,after reading,try to translate the sentences in the book.The teac her showed the interpreter and explained.

The teacher show the sentence about asking and answering male and female occupations.
The teacher provids some pictures about the occupation and
let the students practice in groups freely and find groups to show.
Step 4 Consolidation and extension

pictures and sentences to consolidate practice.
