一、功能:
使用“will + v. (动词原形)”谈论对未来的预测,描述自己想象中的未来蓝图。
二、知识目标:词汇和常用表达:
Learn and use the expressions:
1.human, dangerous, already, factory, believe, disagree, even, shape, fall(fell), inside, possible, impossible, side, servant, over and over again, hundreds of, look for, fall down,
2.*Fewer people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring, but robots will never get bored.
*It will be difficult to make them really think like a man.
*Some scientists believe that there will be more robots in the future.
三、能力目标
1.依据文章题目和所给图片,预测文章内容。
2.通过略读(skimming)的方式,猜测文章大意。
3.借助关键词,通过寻读(scanning)的方式,判断每一段段落大意,加深对篇章结构的把握。
4.通过细读摘取文中有关机器人的细节信息。
5.通过思维导图复述课文,转换文章信息以加深对文章的理解。

Step 1.Lead in (2’)
T: Hello, boys and girls. Do you like watching movies?
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s enjoy a short movie. (play a video.)
T: What did you see in the movie?
Ss: Robots.
通过电影片段激发学生的学习兴趣,导入机器人话题。
Step 2. Ask and answer. (5’)
T: Do you want to know anything more about robots? Now let me tell you. Look at the flashcards. What do robots look like? ( humans, dogs, snakes, a huge arm, spiders, shapes.)
What can robots do? ( talk, dance, play football, play the piano, cook, help with the housework, the same as )
What jobs do they usually do in the fatory? (simple, over and over again, get bored, fall down, dangerous, look for, inside)
借助图片,向学生简单介绍机器人,导入课本中的主要单词和重点句子,降低课文难度,为后面阅读做好铺垫。

Step 5. Skimming(7’)

主要目的是引导学生快速阅读课文,搜寻有关信息、了解课文大意,理清文章脉络,培养学生获取段落主题句和概括文章的技能。
Step 6. Scanning (11’)
Now Let’ s read the passage carefully. At first, read Para 1. (2’)
Read Para. 1 and answer:
1.In what kind of movies ,we sometimes see robots?
In the movies about the future.
2.What are they like?
They are like human servants.
Then read Para 2. (2’)
1.Robots can build in factories.
2.They can do jobs many times and not get bored.
Next read Para 3.Will robots think like humans in the future ? (4’)

Step 7. Retelling (5’)
T: Now I’d like you to retell the passage according to the mind map. First try to retell it to your partner. Then I’ll ask someone to retell it to the whole class.
通过思维导图复述课文,转换文章信息以加深对文章的理解。
Step 8. Imagine your own robots(5’)
Now we are interested in robots. Do you have a try to design your own robots? What kind of robots do you want to have? What will your robot be able to do for you? I’ll give you 3 minutes and share your ideas to others.
让学生打开想像的翅膀,描述自己未来的机器人,训练学生的口语和书面表达能力,同时也巩固一般将来时的用法。
Step 9 .Homework(1’)
1.Read the article in 2b.
2.Recite the new words and expressions in the article.
3.Finish the writing work after class.。
