The cheese rolling competition originated in England and has now evolved into the festival of chasing cheese. It was actually an interesting game. Competitors chase after a giant cheese wheel that rolls down a hill, and whoever catches it will eventually own it.
Thousands of people come to the games every year to watch and cheer. Dozens of cheese warriors are on hand, and local medical and emergency services are on standby.
But perhaps the mud, the bruises, even the broken bits of bone could be a reward for those who stumbled on the cheese.
Strange as it may seem, the festival has been going on for exactly 500 years, and now it has evolved into an international event, attracting brave men from all over the world every year.
