新课标高中英语课堂设计
——必修五第五模块复习课
乐昌市第一中学丘文
一、教材分析
1.课型:复习课。

2.教材结构和内容简析:
这节复习课是新教材高中《英语》(外研社版)第五册第五模块中的最后一个课时,在该模块中起到引导学生巩固所学和检测学生对知识掌握程度的作用,在本模块,乃至在以后的学习中都占重要地位。

本模块题材内容为伟大的体育个性,要求学生了解上述内容并掌握有关的词汇,培养有关的语言技能。

复习课的内容主要分为四部分:1、词汇复习,2、语法复习,3、听说训练,4、评价和作业。

3.教学目标:
3.1知识目标:掌握新学词汇及短语:advantage,score,declare,chance 等等;掌握状语从句的用法,复习模块内有关杰出的运动明星的信息,并能用英语谈论相关信息。

3.2能力目标:能通过各种恰当的方法记忆新词;能运用状语从句的相关知识辨别、分析选择题和翻译句子;能使用本模块学过的词汇描述有关运动的问题,就与此相关的话题进行谈论;能听懂此类对话并根据要求完成练习。

3.3学习策略:归纳整理新学的和已学过的有关运动的词汇、短语,复习状语从句的用法;围绕本模块的话题——伟大的体育个性,融合所学知识,自编自导自演对话;在复习课中,通过各种学习活动检测自己对本模块知识的掌握情况,并查漏补缺。

3.4文化意识:了解体育事业,增强体育精神。

4.教学重难点:
4.1难点:复习课前,学生能按照老师的指导,分工合作地归纳、整理所学知识。

4.2重点:复习课上,学生能够展示自己在本模块所学的知识,并能运用所学知识进行交流;各个层次的学生都能再次巩固所学知识。

二、学生分析
本课时面对的对象是高二A班的学生,他们的整体素质属中上水平,具有一定的英语基础和领悟能力,学习的积极性较容易调动。

因此,在该班实施新课标的改革,有可行性基础。

而且,师生之间在教学活动的磨合中相互适应,该班
学生已喜欢上了“研究性”学习模式。

三、教学方法
1. 理论依据
1.1 任务型教学——源自北京师范大学程晓堂教授的《任务型语言教学》;
1.2“生本主义”教学——源自华南师范大学郭思乐教授的《教育走向生本》。

2. 具体操作
根据新课标的指导,我在教学过程中的具体操作如下:课前分派任务——第一组负责整理词汇,第二组负责归纳语法,第三组负责自编自导自演一个与运动相关的对话。

课堂上采用小组代表发言(呈现整组的自主复习成果),其他学生抢答的“生生互动”方式,教师主要起组织和引导的作用。

每个组的讨论结果,要求包括知识点的用法、学习方法,要举例说明,还要出相应的练习(由组长负责)用幻灯片演示出来,考考全班同学。

最后,教师对学生的总体表现及知识归类进行点评。

四、学法指导
本课时的主要学习策略是“研究性”学习模式,培养学生以探究的方式主动地获取知识、应用知识、获得解决问题的能力。

改变了采用单向传播的传统做法,而且具有更多的协作性、自主性、开放性和创造性。

学生为了有效地参与讨论必然会在课外查阅各种资料,扩大自己的知识面与信息量,提高学生处理信息的能力;在讨论过程中还要应对其他同学的提问,这不仅提高了他们的自学能力、收集资料的能力和与人交流信息的能力,也增强了他们思维的灵活性,以利于创新性思维活动的进行。

五、教学步骤:
课前准备
任务:(小组活动的方式)
让学生自行总结在模块五所学知识,并尝试运用。

将全班分为三个大组,学生在组内进行讨论,并将他们讨论的结果汇总。

第一组的组长要在复习课上以词汇练习的方式,展示他们记忆及运用本模块词汇的方法。

第二组的组长要归纳他们了解的状语从句的用法,并通过典型题例展示。

第三组的组长要派几个同学表演他们自己编写的与体育相关的对话(要求:尽可能运用本模块的重点词汇和语法内容)。

每个组的讨论结果,应该包括知识点的用法、学习方法,要举例说明,还要出练习并用幻灯片演示出来(由各组组长负责、时间控制在11分钟内),考考全班同学。

课前,老师检查学生的准备情况,适当地给予指导。

课堂上(用时40分钟)
任务前活动(让学生大致了解本课时内容,用时2分钟)
引入:师生相互问候。

教师通过介绍课堂的内容和操作程序,导入复习课。

任务活动(用时33分钟)
各组组长按照秩序呈现他们准备好的复习内容,以“生生互动”的方式达
到复习巩固的目的。

1. 词汇复习(第一组派代表主讲):[学生自查对本模块词汇知识的掌握情况,用时11分钟]
1.1请两位同学分别描述一名他所熟悉的运动明星,请其他同学以抢答的方式,竞猜这位运动员的名字。

(用时3分钟)
1.2在屏幕上展示8个句子,其他同学根据句意及提示填入恰当的词语。

(用时5分钟)

1.3 复习3个有用的词汇:优势、保证、行踪。

通过两种方式进行复习:(用时3分钟)
第一,讲中文词义,让同学说出英文词汇及词性,并要求说出该词汇常用的其他词义或反义词。

1.优势→advantage[n.]→有利条件、长处→disadvantage[n.]不利条件
2.保证→guarantee[v.]→担保、允诺→[n.]担保物、抵押物、保证书
3. 行踪→track[n.]→跑道、轨迹、小道、历程→[v.]追踪、尾随、留下足迹
第二,让同学说出与此单词相关的常用短语,越多越好。

1.at an advantage 有利地、占优势
be of advantage to 对……有利
gain / win / have an (the) advantage over 胜过、优于
to one’s advantage / disadvantage 对某人有利/不利
put sb. at a disadvantage 置某人于不利境地
2.stand guarantee for sb. 替某人作保
guarantee sb. / sth. against / from 保证……不受/免遭
guarantee sb. against / from loss 保证某人不受损失
guarantee sth. to sb. 向某人担保/保证某事
be guarantee to do sth. 必定做某事
3.the tracks in the snow 雪上的踪迹

cover up one’s tracks 隐匿行踪
keep tracks of 记录、掌握……的线索、保持与……的联系

2. 语法复习(第二组派代表主讲)[学生自查对状语从句的掌握情况,用时11分钟]
2.1状语从句分多种?分别是什么?(用时1分钟)
2.2通过10道典型的选择题巩固此从句的用法,尤其是强化同学们形成正确的解题思路。

(用时10分钟)

1.课堂评价(采用形成性评价方式,使学生获得成就感,用时4分钟)
1.1 定量评价:(采用学生自评、互评和教师评价相结合的方式)每道
竞答题,答对了加10分,答错了扣10分,以组为单位进行评比。

每组的代表,视其表现及材料的整理情况分别加60分、40分、20分。

最后得出各组在本节课中的总得分,并评出优胜组。

1.2 定性评价:教师评价各组主讲人及组员的表现:指出优点是什么,
不足之处是什么,并提出具体的改善方向。

以鼓励为主,让学生在自我实践中获得成就感,从而进一步提高全班学生学习英语的积极性。
